The community sure disagrees. Pretty much every comment on that thread took it that way. Maybe the author didn’t mean it that way, but I don’t understand why you are defending him so? You should know that is a derogatory term to put down African Americans.
Why defend the author over that? If there is a snake in front of you and everyone tells you it is a snake, no matter how much you say it is a butterfly, it doesn’t change that its a snake.
