As for Stewart's public library crap, his own excerpt of Beck's speech had him mentioning the 16th Amendment. I'm sure Mr. Leibowitz knows full well that Glenn was talking about income taxes, and he also SHOULD know that the founding fathers intended for America to have a universally-educated populace, and so I'm sure that they would have been fine with public libraries.
As for America becoming a polluted wasteland sans police and firemen without federal taxation, I would hope Mr. Leibowitz is aware that the states themselves can fund these things without Big Federal Government's help. (With taxes of course.)
