Kokesh's campaign website states:
"After receiving an honorable discharge in November of 2006, Adam moved to Washington, DC to pursue a master's degree in Political Management at George Washington University. Since then, he has taken it upon himself as an activist to continue to honor his oath to the Constitution and the principles of liberty behind it. "
Although this was true at one time, it no longer is fact and Kokesh knows it, per mulitple websites including Fox News,

As stated by Fox, " A superior officer e-mailed Kokesh, saying he was being investigated because he might have violated a rule prohibiting troops from wearing uniforms at protests. The demonstration marking the fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq was aimed at bringing the experience of the war home to Americans.
Kokesh, a member of Iraq Veterans Against the War, responded to the superior with an obscenity, prompting the Marines to take steps to remove him with an "other than honorable" discharge."

The fact is, that a general discharge under honorable conditions, is NOT an honorable discharge, or it would be called," An Honorable Discharge".
A "general discharge under honorable conditions" speaks to the level of compensation a vet discharged under general discharge status, may retain his benefits to the level that he would have had, had he retained his honorable discharge status. It does NOT give the Vet an honorable discharge.
By definition: a discharge from military service of a person who has served honorably but who has not met all the conditions of an honorable discharge.
Again: "....But who has not met all the conditions of an honorable discharge". That is again, "Has NOT met the conditions of an honorable discharge".
