Every afternoon around cocktail hour (two for one specials on Tuesdays), members of the Freeper crowd get together in front of their computers and TV sets to watch and comment on The Glenn Beck Show. Someone brings out a tray of non-alcoholic cocktails (in Glenn's honor), someone else serves mini Vienna sausages, cheese balls, pizza quiches and other delectables, and we all settle in for an hour of shock and awe. We're never disappointed. Especially lately. Today Glenn told the Crime Syndicate that he's not going to shut up. "I'm going down swinging", he warned them.

I pray for Glenn, tonight. He has to go to a dinner w/ ‘the enemy’......so he said during the last part of his show, today. Hope he has a food tester!
Might I suggest that all learn to use Muckety for those nagging questions about who is tied to who and how.
It appears to me that nearly all of Obozo’s czars are some how tied up with various environmental organizations and foundations.
Maybe that is what the ‘TF’ in BATF stands for!

Andrea, if you know Glenn, then give him this piece of advice if you can. The skinny, well groomed historian he has on who writes about the faith of our founders makes for great TV. He participated in last Friday’s tribute to Sam Adams on Glenn’s founding fathers program. However, the historian made the inexplicable mistake of saying that the wine and beer of that era had hardly any alcohol in it, “just enough to kill the bugs”. He insinuated that these guys didn’t really drink as we know it today. Nothing could be further from the truth. The alcohol content of the wine back then was comparable to it is today (it’s how wine is made) and the beer was generally stronger then than the average suds you buy on the supermarket shelves now.
Anyhow, if he is are going to pass himself off as a good historian, it would be worthwhile for him to correct his glaring mistake.

I know there was some low alcohol content stuff commonly drank but they had plenty of the hard stuff if they wanted it.
Yeah, that was strange. I’m guessing he’s a baptist. LOL
Not to mention the cider that New Englanders kept in barrels in the root cellar. There is no way to keep that juice from “hardening”—

It was a lot like Wall Street in recent years. Junk paper and lots of booze. Roger Sherman, the only man to sign all four great founding documents, wrote in 1752:

Benjamin Franklin, when he moved to England for a spell in his (relative) youth, worked at a print shop. His coworkers would all drink Guiness or some other dark beer during their breaks. Morning and lunchtime. Their productivity dissipated each day after lunch because they were drunk. He convinced the owner to change the policy and got everyone pissed off at him.
