You know, I read this piece in the Post. I actually agree with him. Betty White can say the same thing on Sat Nite Live and they get the highest ratings of the year on it... - OH, maybe that's why he said it!
I thought this was a remarkably bold line:
"Let's face it -- even some of the craziest claims can quickly gain traction. I've had some experience with that myself.
...considering how well the masses were manipulated by the media during his campaign and presidency thus far.
And when he starts talking about things that "threaten democracy," I start thinking the worst about what his brain-trust might come up with to solve the "problem."

Obama is just ticked off that 40% to 50% of the American people question his eligibility. That they even know about has been entirely due to the Internet and word of mouth.
The mainstream Marxist media the conservative weenie media have been silent on his natural born status.

It’s getting harder and harder to dupe those of us who make an effort to stay informed. Drats!

Now what?!? 0 is preparing us for the theft of information and the freedom thereof by his administration. Lucifer is their hero.Guess I’d better get out my stationery and pen.
New methods need to be invented now!

Or some Hillary-style "Gatekeeper" for the internet. Some civil servant (read as "civil master") will have the authority to approve or disapprove your internet post before the world is allowed to see it.

The Technology is not the problem. The problem is the belief is that “Everything is politics”.
When you insert your unwelcome self into people’s lives they become rapidly educated and then start to act to disable the government’s interference.

All of this is not only putting new pressures on you, it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy. Hey, Mr. "Constitutional Scholar", the United States is NOT a democracy - we are a Republic.

Yeah! Those crazy claims just won't go away!
Uh?...Like where's your long form birth certificate?
Hm?...No one remembers you being in classes at Columbia?
Or?...Gee! Your dad was a British and Kenyan citizen and never a naturalized American?

free speech is not for tyrants is it
We are going to see a frontal assault on free speech real soon now. First the FTC overruling the SC and attacking the Internet with their lies, and next up FNC and then talk radio.
Tyrants do not like in your face opposition.
The history of Chavez and Venezuela’s media is a good research project if you need more. Frontline did a starter video some time back called “The Hugo Chavez Show”
It’s morphing into the Barcky Obama Show.

That would create many-many government jobs reviewing all the posts. Would the rest of the world buy a crazy idea like this? Or would the same SCOTUS allow this that just threw out McCain-Feingold censorship bill?

This is how free elections are stopped and the voice of the opposition shut down.
I see no way out of this. It’s as if we’ve been check-mated by the devil.
