Pastor Wright came to this conclusion after he told Elective Decisions that God had called at three in the morning with specific instructions to nuke the Quran. So, I sat down with Pastor Wright and we weighed the pros and cons of destroying the Quran with a thermonuclear device...

Funny, but reality promises to be funnier.

Already Rev. Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church has promised to burn a Koran if Rev. Terry Jones truly has chickened out (he wants to remind us he’s burned Korans before).

I’ve no doubt the copycat announcements will be coming thick and fast over the next few hours and that Saturday will see a coast-to-coast orgy of Koran-burning.
