Oh yeah, I forgot, #1, you absolutely need a hot chick in camo to do your shooting for you.

Chlorine from what? Ammonia gas from cold-storage facilities having the power off for any extended period of time and the backup generators giving out of gas (as what happened in Mumbai two weeks ago) possibly combining with chlorine (which in NC alone has 12 major spill "incidents" a year just based on equipment failure alone while people are still performing maintenance.) Granted, ammonia gas is lighter than air, so the two spills would have to be in proximity, but it would still be something to keep a nose out for. As for reactors, SOME have both passive and active failsafes. Some. Some reactors are 40+ years old and outdated as liberals want them to fail so the government can shut all of them down.

If you're being realistic, one bullet to put in your own brain pan.

No way! If I'm bit by a zombie I ain't tellin' no one. That way when I wake up undead I'll be behind the defenses with all those lovely brains to eat...

“radiation from just about every nuclear reactor in the affected area going into meltdown”

I believe all (or at least most) reactors in the USA are of the sort that simply cease production if left unattended.

Think fuel-air bomb. Whack an entire neighborhood at once.

I love that show! I’m so glad it got picked up for a new season.

Andrew Lincoln is doing a great job in that role. I had never heard of him before and I was shocked when I heard him speaking in a TV interview. He is British but does an excellent American accent.

uns and ammo is all you ned, all the rest are unimportant.

I believe all (or at least most) reactors in the USA are of the sort that simply cease production if left unattended.

For most Boiling Water Reactors, SCRAM procedures will effectively shut them down (for the most part an automated process.) For PWRs, control rods drop into place assuming the power is cut, or the heat reaches a certain level. This assumes everything works as intended (and given that we're talking about a zombie apocalypse I'm willing to give a certain level of doubt as to things working as intended.)

I am thinking he meant “plenty of rounds of each cartridge type you have,” but maybe I am too generaous.

Me, a Glock .45 (talking headshots here) and Remington 875 with double alt buck would be my practical choices. I saw the thing down to 15 inches.

Head shots are harder than people thing and 00 coming from a short barrel would work well. An 875 is not fancy, not semi-auto, but very robust.

Lots of rounds available for the 12g and the pistol.

Big diesel sleeper. I’d hunt out a cat tracker and some place like a school or police station that has basic fencing and dig a big ass trench outside the fence.

After I posted that I realized it might actually apply to shotguns, so I think you have that covered.

A blunderbuss for the new millennium! (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Maybe he's referring to getting a Hummer IN the Peterbilt (which can actually be done two different ways!)

BTW, did you hear about the elderly trucker? He got a new Peterbilt!

Isn’t that tutorial misleading? I mean, zombies can’t run, can they? I thought they could only stagger at a fast pace.

(Sigh)

I expect more from you than this.

OK, quick remediation:

It all depends on the contagion/reanimation mechanism. Some zombie outbreaks result in slow-moving, Romero-speed walkers. Other mechanisms, like the T-virus or Rage, result in Sprinters. Still others result in a mix aka The Walking Dead.

So pay attention from now on, damn it...

Is that a bite mark on your arm?

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.
