Juan Williams suggests Arizonans’ anger at immigrants is reason for shooting

I have not seen him on FOX? since I last left the USSA in
Jan. 2005.
I always remember his having the look of a deer in the headlights. The headlights being the only bright spot in his brain.

I saw Juan interviewed on Fox yesterday and he said no such thing. Maybe the author saw a different segment.

Juan actually strongly castigated those trying to play politics with this when I saw him.

Maybe that lady at NPR knew he has a psychiatrist.

And FNC paid millions to put this under contract? Maybe if I paint my face black and start frothing at the mouth, they’ll sign me up for a few dollars...

When I read through the rambling postings of this shooter I see nothing about immigration, Sarah Palin, Sharon Angle, Rush, the Tea Party or Glenn Beck. Nothing, and goodness knows there's enough of his rambling essays out there by now to give a pretty clear picture of his mental condition.

The ONLY thing that makes this case front page, above the fold, top of the hour news to exclusion of virtually everything else for a third day now is the identity of his victims. Normally there is nothing notable about a lefty, liberal, loner, loony, loser who lets go and kills or harms innocents. This is way too common an occurrence across the country, but usually it's a family member or a relative unknown victim that falls prey to the madness.

What we are seeing from the Left is also a mental illness, but it's entirely different from the illness that we know as schizophrenia.

And there's not a thing we can do about it. Just got to batten down the hatches and ride out the storm.

They just can`t reconcile themselves to the fact the shootings had nothing to do with Palin, Conservatives, the 2nd Amendment, the GOP, or anything else pertaining to the Right. It simply seems beyond their mental reach.

What evidence suggest that, Juan?

I read his rants and watched his video....where did I miss this anger against *immigrants*?

You are absolutely correct. He even prefaced his remarks by saying that they were unusual coming from someone who is “left of center”, but that he saw no connection with the shooter and the “right-wing”.

I LOVE Free Republic, but some Freepers do the same thing as the DBM by jumping to conclusions based on one article. The saving grace is that we continue to search for the truth and attempt to correct any erroneous information ASAP.

He’s been all over the map at FOX last couple days. Remember he can’t go to far to the left after fired by NPR and got a new contract with FAUX!!!

We are overlooking the fact that one of the reasons for the rampage was that the shooter was pissed that Giffords recently voted AGAINST Pelosi for Speaker. I believe he made that known via the internet. Was that “the last straw”?
