In January 2009 Barack Obama and his Marxist Congress had a choice. They could ram through the Freedom Of Choice Act (FOCA) appeasing the abortion hungry Left or let it sit while they rammed through “more important items” like Obamacare and Card Check to appease their union masters. Their sense of the situation told them they probably couldn’t do both.
Now after a series of stinging defeats on Card Check and the ever dimming chances of Obamacare actually happening, Obama has run back to safe territory. He has off FOCA’s Conscious Clause. Obviously Obama’s political handlers have concluded there are votes to be had in a fight with Christians in general and the Catholic Church in particular over abortion.
No Conscious clause
Obama has ordered ………Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to start threatening medical professionals who, for reasons of personal conviction, will not dispense drugs that cause miscarriages – in effect aborting fetuses.

More than disappointment needed
The Conference of Catholic Bishops has expressed its “disappointment” Obama has stabbed its principles in the heart, and HHS claims its rules “…never intended to allow providers to refuse …. Medical care to individuals because [his/her] behavior [was] found objectionable….” A more practical view of the consequences of this new ruling, however, is the eventual closing of Catholic hospitals.
Doctor J. Scott Ries of the Christian Medical Association is very concerned about this decision. He predicts two outcomes A – Rather than disobeying God’s law, a number of health care professionals will walk away from their jobs, and not yield to Obama’s law and B- when that happens faith based hospitals will close or drastically cut services....

Well, I am disappointed in them, too, for wimping out on this issue.
Guess my money will be going to actively prolife groups instead of to the “Bishops Annual Appeal” again this year!
The Church needs to clean house from all of these liberal bishops who support the leftists. That includes calling out Pelosi, any Kennedy, Durban, Cuomo, and any other CINO.

They know what they’re doing. They’re forcing people to choose between their conscience and their job. Most will choose their job in a country where it’s hard to find a job, and when you do have one, the taxing authorities try to get every cent they can.
And, of course, the Democratic (socialist) Party of America is a proponent of the Death Culture...they're atheistic for Pete’s sake.

The Absolute Truth here......
A number of years ago, a doctor friend of mine and I were talking. He is an OB/GYN. This was well before I had lost two children prior to their birth, but my feelings against abortion were already well defined. I somewhat hedged around the issue of his training and what procedures were required before he was considered fully qualified. [Awkward questoin time] His answer was that his was the last group of residences at that hospital that was not required to participate in elective abortions. A lot of silence in the room after that.
You're not much of a Protestant either if you support this horsecrap.
