Time Mag Editor: Koran Is ‘Directly The Word of God,’ Bible Just a Book ‘Written By Man’

In another example of a sort-of cultural suicide where western media types assume that all Muslims are blameless – while all Americans are at fault in this clash of civilizations between Islamism and the West – we have a recent episode of MSNBC’s Hardball with one-time Democratic operative Chuck Todd standing-in for host Chris Matthews.

Todd was discussing the riots in Afghanistan sparked by Islamist ire over the burning of a Koran by a Florida pastor. During the interview Todd and a guest stated that the Christian Bible was just a book written by men while the Koran was the “direct word of God.” The two implied that this excuses Muslims from murdering people over the book burning.

I suspect that liberals are tolerant of Muslims because they’re scared to death of them. They know a Christian isn’t going to kill them for pissing on the Christian religion.

not “WRITTEN” , transcribed! Moses took dictation.

I’ve been using THAT same defense {piece of verbal gymnastics} against Jehovah’s Witnesses since the late 70s!

The “claim” that the KORAN was written by a Deity & handed DOWN to an illiterate, named Mohammed, IS IMPRESSIVE!

Maybe if Christians started having violent riots and threatening/killing anyone who breaks absurd rules of "respect" for the Bible they'll garner the same sort of timid homage this complete ignoramus is the most recent example of.

But then to do that would require that Christians ignore the teachings of the one true God, and follow the spirit that seeks death, destruction and bondage for humanity...Allah/Satan/Devil...whatever you want to call him.

This dolt making pronouncements such as this may earn him some brownie points with the Prince of the Air, but it sure doesn't do anything for his credibility.

If he's willing act like he knows something about the Bible and the Koran when he's obviously completely clueless of both books what else does he pontificate about with the same level of ignorance?

IOW, just another typical Progressive useful idiot.

Pathetic fool.

The book of Matthew is the first book in the New Testament. As such, it is a primer on how to be a Christian.

Mathew 22: 34-40... Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

"Mohammed was just taking dictation."

If that's true, then the dictator certainly wasn't God.

I'm just glad I serve a sovereign, omnipotent God, who has no need to demand I join mobs at the slightest provocation to fight for Him.

It's good to have a powerful God, instead of a jealous, petty, destructive one like Allah.

So has Chuck Todd converted to Islam if the Quran is “the word of God”?

If not, why hasn’t he? I would love to hear his response.

Wasn't it the Angel Gabriel?
