Every society has its red lines. Areas that are off limits. Behaviors that are unacceptable. Lines that should not be crossed. And the left has progressively dismantled the red lines that constrain it, while seizing control of the infrastructure that marks out a society's red lines. By controlling that cultural infrastructure, the left can insure that all of a society's remaining standards are double standards.
The inability to hold the left accountable for its actions is traceable back to this lack of standards. How does one call for accountability when there is no objective standard to measure the wrongness of an action against? Without it, every argument turns into a war of values. And even the mildest issues usher in another culture war.
The left constantly sets red lines for the right, but any attempt to set red lines for it leads to cries of McCarthyism. The party that fifteen years earlier had rounded up people into detention camps for the crime of being Japanese, got on its high horse because a few Hollywood Communists were being held accountable for participating in a conspiracy to overthrow the United States. The same people who had approved of the crackdown on the Bund and Trotskyists during WW2 turned into die hard defenders of freedom, when it was the Hollywood Comrades turn during the Cold War.

I have a liberal cousin who is fond of telling me things are no worse morally than in declining Roman times. He even cites sexual degeneracy, etc as evidence for his belief. I’ve pointed out to him that in our age, even the shroud around the planet is now morally polluted with electromagnetic filth all around us. He dismisses it with hs usual that such stuff is invisible. He of course is a receiver which uses the filth, via an intermediary which can ‘see’ the waves. What if we were made like bats and could sense electromagnetic waves? And we think the spirit world doesn’t sense such filth? ... ‘Jesus wept. And the Angels wept’

Since when does the phrase "electromagnetic filth" become "electromagnetic waves = filth"? Sounds like a reading comprehension problem. If filth is transmitted over electromagnetic waves, is it inaccurate to euphemistically call it "electromagnetic filth" rather like filth on film could be called "celluloid filth"?

Nice try to deflect from the essence of what I wrote. Duly noted, your purposed mischaracterization. You know that the electromagnetic waves are no more filth than the energy coming from the Sun. But huamnkind use the medium to project their moral filth.
Think about it for a minute: God can discern the thoughts you have; electromagnetic waves carry the filth people create todegrade the human soul, the thoughts of humankind; do you really think God is not able to discern the messages in the electromagnetic waves?

Also , if you think that porno or whatever other indecent crap going out over magnetic waves are somehow polluting the air around us with evil, you are also one sick sucker.

I think the writer is meaning this in the sense of corruption of the spiritual world,by extension, through the electromagnetic spectrum— the physical expression of a part of what has been expressed in earlier times in scripture. Old and New Testament. Like lightning bolts, spirits, ghosts etc. that nowadays might be referred to as paranormal.
The science of it: the electromagnetic spectrum carries the signal to the television/satellite receiver, which then translates this to the content viewed and heard be it filthy or spiritually uplifting. It is a stretch to try and say that the spectrum is polluted by the content. To say that the waves themselves are filth is tinfoil hat stuff, schizo land, hearing voices, etc.
On the subject of moral decadence as a marker of destruction of our culture and unique government, there is historical precedence.
The other day I was watching a security tape of a young couple that was cruising a mall parking garage, looking for an easy theft of a catalytic converter. They found one, and operated with such ease and confidence it was almost shocking even to me, a person who sees crime almost daily.
When they finshed thier deed, they pulled out of the garage under the watchful eye of another camera bay. As the vehicle passed by, I could make out two children sitting in the back seat.
Yes, an unusual level of depravity has been reached when parents aren’t even ashamed to steal in from of thier own kids. There were no Obama T-shirts to be seen, but there is a 97% chance that they were his supporters.
