Gerald Celente: “Economic Martial Law Will Be Declared”
causapatet.blogspot ^ | 8/1/11 | Mac Slavo

Posted on 08/01/2011 1:23:23 PM PDT by Kartographer

In his latest quarterly Trends Journal (Summer 2011), Gerald Celente provides us another “history of the future,” in which he discusses global economic, monetary, and political events as they happen and what their consequences will be for months, years and decades to come. As he has said before, it is only a matter of time before a major terror attack is executed in a major Western nation. And once it happens it will send shock waves throughout the world, leading to mass global panic and a further tightening of the noose around the necks of the populace:

What will another major terror strike mean? Should an attack hit one of the major NATO nations, the effects, this time, will go global. Bank holidays will be called, the US and other fragile economies will crumble, gold and silver will soar, and already-troubled currencies will crash. Economic martial law will be declared. Introduced as a temporary measure, once in place it will remain in place (like the curfews and draconian security precautions installed by despots and dictators everywhere). Civil rights will be suspended and, particularly in America, Homeland Security, already intolerably intrusive, will achieve an Orwellian omnipresence.

Thats what will happen. The states will just go their own way and ignore the Fed govt. Besides 20,000 troops couldn’t subjegate more than about 3 large cities. What do we have in Afghanistan? 130,000 troops? And the Taliban are still running rampant.

90 million armed and highly ticked off Americans agains’t 20,000 US troops. Hmmmm!! I’m liking those odds.

I would sure like our top candidates declare they will defund homeland security. A dangerous waste of money.

Was in the bank today. The employees seemed very worried. I wonder if the management is telling them they should have a plan.

Actually I’m a lot more worried about the illegals than I am about US troops. There are somewhere on the far side of 30 million of them here. Plus we’re apparently arming them in Mexico and central America.

I'm not sure about the 90 million, but I am sure that there are a very large number of well armed Americans just waiting for something of the magnitude of suspending civil rights, to decide that they have had many things up to their eyeballs, and the shooting will begin, against those that would be tasked with enforcing such a suspension. They (those who think they are our masters) better calculate and consider well, or it's a blood and death surplus throughout our country. May God prevent it from ever getting to that point.

Directive 10-289

“In the name of the general welfare,” read Jeffrey Immelt the economics advisor, “to protect the people’s security, to achieve full equality and total stability, it is decreed for the duration of the national emergency that—

“Point One. All workers, wage earners and employees of any kind whatsoever shall henceforth be attached to their jobs and shall not leave nor be dismissed nor change employment, under penalty of law. The penalty shall be determined by the Super Congress, such Congress to be appointed by the Bureau of Economic Planning and National Resources. All persons reaching the age of twenty-one shall report to the Super Congress, which shall assign them to where, in its opinion, their services will best serve the interests of the nation.

“Point Two. All industrial, commercial, manufacturing and business establishments of any nature whatsoever shall henceforth remain in operation, and the owners of such establishments shall not quit nor leave nor retire, nor close, sell or transfer their business, under penalty of the nationalization of their establishment and of any and all of their property.

“Point Three. All patents and copyrights, pertaining to any devices, inventions, formulas, processes and works of any nature whatsoever, shall be turned over to the nation as a patriotic emergency gift by means of Gift Certificates to be signed voluntarily by the owners of all such patents and copyrights. The Unification Board shall then license the use of such patents and copyrights to all applicants, equally and without discrimination, for the purpose of eliminating monopolistic practices, discarding obsolete products and making the best available to the whole nation. No trademarks, brand names or copyrighted titles shall be used. Every formerly patented product shall be known by a new name and sold by all manufacturers under the same name, such name to be selected by the Unification Board. All private trademarks and brand names are hereby abolished.

“Point Four. No new devices, inventions, products, or goods of any nature whatsoever, not now on the market, shall be produced, invented, manufactured or sold after the date of this directive. The Office of Patents and Copyrights is hereby suspended.

“Point Five. Every establishment, concern, corporation or person engaged in production of any nature whatsoever shall henceforth produce the same amount of goods per year as it, they or he produced during the Zero Baseline Year, no more and no less. The year to be known as the Basic or Yardstick Year is to be the year ending on the date of this directive. Over or under production shall be fined, such fines to be determined by the Super Congress.

“Point Six. Every person of any age, sex, class or income, shall henceforth spend the same amount of money on the purchase of goods per year as he or she spent during the Basic Year, no more and no less. Over or under purchasing shall be fined, such fines to be determined by the Super Congress.

“Point Seven. All wages, prices, salaries, dividends, profits, interest rates and forms of income of any nature whatsoever, shall be frozen at their present figures, as of the date of this directive.

“Point Eight. All cases arising from and rules not specifically provided for in this directive, shall be settled and determined by the Super Congress, whose decisions will be final.”

Ok that’s all of it. Please sit and think about this and what it means.

>>That’s a tough job in this economy.<<

My HARD $$ instinct is to become a commie, then get a job as a “czar/tsar” job on the barry the zero administration. The great part is you don’t actually have to understand the basics of the subject for which you have been hired, nor must you ever work again.

Then that damn “conscience” that says “you must EARN what you are PAID FOR” kicks in and I remember I must both sleep and look at myself when I shave.

Is it God’s greatest gift or biggest joke that people of conscience must stand by while those of selfishness and sloth profit from their terrible acts?

Heard a radio commercial chiding people for keeping their savings in cash, not in the banks. The fact that there is commercial tells me that there IS a silent run on the banks.

Hmmm, that calls for another tick on the storm is brewing list.

I’ve pulled some cash out of the bank to keep available, just in case, since the 2008 blow-up, but I keep vaccillating over whether to go ahead and be drawing down the remainder that’s in the bank, or not. Sometimes I let my procrastination cause me problems. I keep thinking that hopefully I’ll see the signs of what’s coming in enough time to yank the rest way before a bank holiday happens, but now I’m not so sure I’ll notice in time.

To quote that Dodge commercial guy, "Well, that's cain't be good." I guess I better be paying closer attention to my bank employees demeanor.

Don’t go around tonight,
Well, it’s bound to take your life,
There’s a bad moon on the rise.

Hope you got your things together.
Hope you are quite prepared to die.
Looks like we’re in for nasty weather.
One eye is taken for an eye.

Maybe they were just cashing their government checks before we go bankrupt.

Ugh, Pelosi is yammering on about something on ABC right now. Probably trashing the GOP but all I hear from her is blah, blah, blah.
