Codrea Exclusive: "Project Gangwalker?" More gunwalking -- in INDIANA!? FBI manipulated NICS system

"Exclusive Report: Documents indicate ATF, FBI allowed Indiana ‘crime gun’ sales."

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has acknowledged an Indiana dealer’s cooperation in conducting straw purchases at the direction of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Exclusive documents obtained by Gun Rights Examiner show the dealer cooperated with ATF by selling guns to straw purchasers, and that bureau management later asserted these guns were being traced to crimes.

From the confidential source providing the documents:

The dealer…was sent a "demand letter," based on the number of traces to him, which was retracted after his attorney pointed out they resulted from his cooperation with ATF. (Strangely, he got two voicemails from two different ATF people, both saying they were the head of the tracing operation).

Some of the straw men turned out to have felony convictions, the agents called the FBI background check system and fixed it so the transactions would be approved, something which may also have happened in Phoenix. (The attorney wasn't clear as to whether the guns were actually delivered to the gangs).

Fact is, if the the ATF was worried about "crime gun traces," they WERE in fact actually delivered to the gangs.

Fact is, the principal market for straw-purchased weapons in Indiana is Chicago.

Andrew Traver: What does he know about "Project Gangwalker" and when did he know it?

Fact is, Andrew Traver, Obama buddy and still declared heir-apparent to the ATF mini-throne would have known about any such gunwalking operation involving his area of operations. He would have had to have been briefed.

Fact is, David just broke an incredibly important story.

Fact is, once again, the new media beats the old media.

But this also highlights an email I received this morning from a retired military officer in the Northern Virginia reacting to my "Meetings, Part 5."

Mike -- another good "roadmap" for the congressional guys...

Let's hope they're already on the trails you're pointed out...

BTW -- The info my friend (REDACTED) sent on how convicted felons being allowed to buy guns (thx to FBI giving an "okay" on the data base search) is itself a felony -- this is a point, IMHO, worth hammering away at in damn near every piece. As (Redacted) pointed out, only two ways for a convicted felon to buy a gun: (1) Presidential pardon (Mark Rich can buy); and (2) get conviction overturned.

Everyone involved in approving sale to convicted felons has in fact committed a felony... we need an Independent Prosecutor...

Your call for expanding congressional actions to include Judiciary and Foreign Affairs is POINT ON!!!

Project Gangwalker——

Do I have this right? In 2009, at the behest of the Evansville, Indiana office (ATF Agent Kevin Whittaker), the Indiana gun dealer was virtually coerced by ATF into participating in Gunwalker (in this case, Chicago Gangwalker) and for his cooperation, he gets harassed by another branch of ATF and theoretically accused of abusing his right to sell guns because an unusual number of the guns he has sold have in short time been used in crimes?

Then furthermore, because the dealer is threatened with prosecution for noncompliance, he must, at his own expense, hire a lawyer in order to inform the Fed ATF left hand what the Fed ATF right hand is doing?

Five days-—Is that record FED response time with two personal phone calls from two NTC chiefs?

How many other “participating” dealers did this happen to?

And the initial letter to the dealer from NTC Chief Houser was dated Feb 14, 2011. Isn’t this when the Gunwalker story first started to break?

Indiana? in 2009? -— Is this not explosive?

The only way for it to be more expl;osive wold be if local law-enforcement, at behest of Federal law-enforcement, took advantage of Indiana’s Supreme Court’s repudiation of the legal right to resist unlawful police entries and raided him w/o warrant.

I think this Indiana ATF thing is much more important than people realize. It would appear that the Justice Department is trying to have these illegal weapons every where. That means we have only seen the tip of the iceberg. It also means that this administrations attempt to paint the Arizona Fast and Furious project as a local Arizona agency gone rogue is absolutely a lie. What are the odds that Indiana went rogue at the same time Arizona went rogue.

This assault on law and the American citizens as well as Mexican citizens has it origin in the justice department and or the White House but probably both.

The reason is very simple, this is a direct assault on the second amendment. What is truly frighting is why does the Justice Department fear the second amendment. This “aint” pretty.

ps
I have lived in several third world countries where the central government is corrupt and despotic. When I see what is happening in my beloved county it gives me pause to think, “I have seen this before.” It “aint” pretty.

I knew things felt ‘off’ ever since I got back from Iraq (2008); can you elucidate on what you see happening?

“I knew things felt ‘off’ ever since I got back from Iraq (2008); can you elucidate on what you see happening?”

1. A judicary that can not be trusted and is politically motivated instead of motivated by the written law. i.e. the constitution. However more important is the fact that most of the jucicary think this is moral and good. They regard the Constitution as a curious relic. This type of thinking permeates the law schools.

2. Rampant corruption of government lead by political figures that are in the game only for power and or financial gain.

3. A legislative body that is for sale like a hooker on the street. However in respect to hookers there are some things they will not do. That can not be said for the legislature in Washington DC.

4. Schools that no longer teach but indoctrinate with political prejudice and at the same time ignore the history of the nation or write that history totally different than the actual documented history of a nation.

5. The realization that the Constitution (the greatest document ever written by man) is not considered by the political class as law nor even a valid document.

6. A judiciary that has it prime motive of enforcing their political social beliefs instead of enforcing the rule of law.

7. In every despotic regime be it left or right there is one thing that never changes. Those at the top control the money, power, and life and death of those below them. Those just below them support them because they will get some of the money and prestige and power by supporting the despot in control. Also each and every despotic regime will demand total support, least one risk his life or fortune.

8. The despot will and must create a hated class to remain in power. This is the politics of having the public preoccupied with hating business, an ethnic or racial group, political group or different nation. The object of hate will be cast them as the villian that is keeping “the people” in poverty and despair. When you are busy hating and fighting, you do not know who the real villian is.

9. A media that is controlled by the political class is also a sign of despotism. Oddly enough our media is not controlled yet but willingly spouts the politically correct view. Lennin called them “use full idiots.” They were also the first that were shot when he had total control of Russia.

10. The last and final action of the elected leader before descending a country into the realm of obedience to the despot is the confiscation of the publics right to keep and bear arms. That worked real well for the Jews in Europe. As loyal German citizens the Jews and the rest of the German population surrendered their weapons to the government.

I lived in Venezuela for a few years (long before the Despot Chavez). You may find it of interest that Venezuela modeled its Constitution on that of the United States. If that Constitution had been followed, Venezuela today would be a great and free nation. Chavez could not have made Venezuela what it is today if he tried to do it overnight the people would have rebelled. He became the despot by methodically destroying the media, the judiciary and legislative branch. It took years to do this.

Note, Chaves was elected in a free and fair election the first time. The second election was a fraud and he did not win the election but as Stalin said, “It is not important who they vote for. What is important is who counts the votes.”

Chavez today is a despot and he utilized each and every point above to bring a free nation to its knees.

The United States in about 80% of the way on the points above. Like I said, “it aint pretty.”

Indeed, it is not pretty at all.
Thank you for the list, btw.
