The video from Arizona Patriot shows Attorney Orly Taitz presenting Sheriff Joe with evidence about Obama's Connecticut social security number. Sheriff Joe then gives an update on his Cold Case Posse looking into Obama's forged birth certificate.

I agree. I do wish that any information had come out a lot sooner. Better to run against Biden than have this issue over-shadow the economic mess we’re in. But, saying that shows I’m putting politics above the US Constitution.

As long as this is a nation that does not accept one's word over proof with documentation, I'm not surprised at all. I hoped and still hope this can be an election over the issues but I must admit that it's a hope that puts politics above the US Constitution.

I think the birth certificate issue is a waste of time and energy. Whether or not there’s some hanky panky with Obama’s birth certificate (and I’ll admit, I haven’t paid close enough attention to the issue to know one way or the other) the fact is that he is the President, and that’s not going to change as a result of any legal action regarding his origins, regardless of how ambiguous they may be.
Do you really think the Judicial branch is going to create a Constitutional Crisis by attempting to remove the Executive through the action a court? The members of the Judicial branch are a bunch of government lawyers and their functionaries. It isn’t in their interest to precipitate a situation that could cause domestic chaos, and even possibly ignite a civil war. Right or wrong, they aren’t going to do it, and conservatives are wasting their time and chasing shadows here.
We’re a year away from the election. Obama is wrong on the issues and that’s where we can, and where I believe, we will beat him. He’s massively unpopular, and his supporters are increasingly disheartened, and I think, disappointed in him. Barring some sort of political miracle, I think he’s finished. We should look to the future, and concentrate on finding the best candidate to lead our country forward.
I don’t know if Barack Obama is from Kenya, or from Hawaii, or from Timbuktu. Frankly, I don’t care, it doesn’t really matter anymore. It doesn’t really matter anymore. It’s like the Democrats arguing about Bush v. Gore in 2003. It’s over, he’s the President. Move on.
Concentrate on the issues, because that’s where he’s vulnerable. Connect with the voters, who I think have had all the “hope and change” they can stomach. If we concentrate on the issues, we win. If we get distracted, well, he’s the sitting President, and its not easy to unseat an incumbent, who knows what happens then.
Newt Gingrich was right, when he said in that speech he gave in Iowa that this is the most important election since 1860. We can’t afford to lose it, the country can’t afford it. Four more years of Obama might end with the country literally in flames. We need to win, and we can, as long as we maintain our focus on the real issues facing America.
(I realize that my position might not be terribly popular on this, but I’m an opinionated sort of fellow, and the preceding comments are merely my opinion. Take it or leave it. :)

Kapiolani Hospital: It is going on 6 months, and counting, since President Obama released his long form "birth certificate" on April 27, 2011, and yet not one word from Kapiolani officials verifying that Obama was born there as stated on the birth certificate. Why is that?
Could the answer be a simple one: Obama's mother was not a patient there in Aug. 1961 as is stated on the birth certificate, and so there is no way Kapiolani can verify that Obama was born there.
For instance, why doesn't Kapiolani let tourists look at the room where Obama's mother stayed in Aug.1961?
As I see it, showing tourists the room would not be prohibited by federal medical confidential rules.

Social Security Connecticut number controversy: As many of us know, we can easily get a copy of our original application form from Social Security by paying a small fee.
So why doesn't the President of the United States, who has power over all federal agencies, simply get a copy of his Social Security application tomorrow and then show it to the world to see?
Such a presidential action would surely show the world why Hawaii teenager Obama got a Connecticut number instead of getting a Hawaii number.
My theory: President Obama won't release a copy of his Social Security application because he knows that it will show that it was filled out and mailed from Connecticut, or he knows that one does not exist.
Many folks do not know this: Barry Soetoro, aka Barak Obama, has an immigration file as an Indonesian refugee.
The existance of this file was discovered by an attorney during the courts martial of a U.S. Army officer. Homeland Security refused to releas the file for the trial’s discovery.
A natural born citizen doesn’t have an immigration file.
None exists. He has the SSN of someone who died at an early age, in their early teens at the latest. My guess is a family member bought he SSN for him when he came back from Indonesia or had someone get them an SSN for him as a favor. JMHO Regards

Look up Phil Kline and Kansas. He tried to shine the light on Planned Parenthood a few years ago and has been hounded and villified all along the way. He law license was taken from him and now we find out Sebelius administration was destroying evidence. Point is it is difficult to win. Sheriff Joe is doing well, but the real ‘bitter clingers’ to power never give up. Example...Clinton in 98...turned a slam dunk of resignation or impeachment to his favor. I want the Obama truth tomorrow, but sadly it may be years away.

Yes, of course there is a lack of political will to oust Obama over this, with attendant Constitutional crises and unknown consequences, especially when O appears headed for a one-and-out. Impeachment would fail in the current Congress and Senate, and massively “fire up” O’s dispirited supporters. However, efforts like Sheriff Arpaio’s, and transparency bloggers’, keep the administration wondering and on defense, slightly diminishing O’s capacity to do harm, and increasing the likelihood that he will do or say something stupid in response. Legitimate Presidential candidates can benefit, and stay on message about policy issues, without miring themselves with any blowback. O has staked his credibility on his posted documents — any new evidence that O’s bc, ss number, or life story are false will not lead to impeachment; but, an even weaker top-of-ticket could cost the left critical seats in the House and Senate.
