A northwest suburban man says he needs to clear the air after coming to the support of his fiancee, who accuses GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain of making a sexual play for her.
For starters, Sharon Bialek isn’t his fiancee, said Mark Harwood in an exclusive interview on Wednesday night. “We were engaged last year in June but I think there have been some assumptions that Sharon still lives here in Mundelein with me” Harwood told the I-Team. “Sharon and her son moved out in February of this year and now live in their own home … so effectively we’re no longer engaged.”
On Monday, when Ms. Bialek was the first of Cain’s alleged groping victim’s to go public, Harwood was contacted by news organizations trying to find out information about her. He did numerous interviews during which he was referred to as her fiancé. “I made reference to the fact that we were engaged and got engaged last June, 2010 and I think the assumption then-we were still engaged. I think most people seemed to be under the belief that Sharon lived [in my house] but she’s not here.”

I don’t know if this has any particular significance, but for several days the media wanted the world to think Sharon Bialek was engaged to this guy, because that seemed to undercut suggestions she might be in it for money, e.g., Ben Smith at Politico:
In fact, per the Tribune, she’s living with her fiance, described as an executive in the medical equipment industry, in “a large, five-bedroom home… in north suburban Mundelein.”
He was described as her fiancé in the lead of an Associated Press article citing him as corroboration of Bialek’s account (although he didn’t know her in 1997 and says she never told him about it until Nov. 4). It was Thursday before WLS-TV got this interview, so that little bit of misinformation got corrected by the local ABC station in Chicago, three crucial days after it had been widely reported and woven into the media narrative as evidence of Bialek’s credibility.
Like I said: Things that make you go “hmmmm.”
There was also George Stephoupolis on ABC asking this lady if she had contacted the Attorney for Kraushaer and given a fake name of “sharon”. She refused to answer the question which leads one to believe there are not 4 accusers, but at most 3 and maybe just the 2.
He’s running as fast as he can from this train wreck..can ya blame him?

After reading all of the court motions and rulings associated with this guy, I am VERY surprised we have not heard from him yet. Maybe Lin Wood has him on standby.

She gets her own house yet she’s seriously in debt to multiple creditors? Very feeeeeshy indeed!

Meanwhile, a friend of Ms Bialek, from Chicago, told the New York Post: ‘She has a very infectious personality. It’s easy to see how she won [Cain] over. But the reality of her situation is — she’s a complete gold digger. It’s all about the money.’
Adding that she was from a middle-income family but lives in a posh house while running from bill collectors, the source said: ‘Most of her jobs ended in termination. It’s always the employer’s fault, not hers.
‘This is a lady who lives off the system. She is hellbent on finding a way of never having to work and living the lifestyle she wants to live, a very affluent lifestyle.’
The dude is distancing himself. If he wasn’t, then there would be wedding bells heard throughout the land next month.
Who knows? Maybe he’s a Cain supporter?
Buy-A-Lick has been sucking off of the sperm donor, father of her son, for $5000 a month in child support. Bet daddy can’t wait to get full custody...

She is also said to have accused a former boyfriend of harassing her for money he had loaned her after she borrowed $4,500 from him.
The IRS filed a tax lien against her in 2009 for nearly $5,200. In August, the Illinois Department of Revenue claimed Ms Bialek owed the state more than $4,300, including penalties and interest, relating to income taxes from 2004, according to county records.
Court records also show creditors took legal action against her during the past decade, including at least one lawsuit filed in Cook County.
But Mark Harwood, a corporate executive in the medical equipment industry, denied she had any financial difficulties and claimed he supports her so she can look after her 13-year-old son.
Good grief, is that true? Who is the moron that claims to be baby daddy?

Bialek met her fiance online several years ago. After communicating via email for many months, they fell in love on their first date, which lasted 72 hours, Harwood said.
The couple moved in together four years ago and got engaged while vacationing in Venice, Italy, in June 2010.

As TV trucks pulled up in front her Mundelein home and reporters rang the doorbell, Harwood said his fiancee does not plan on any legal action against Cain and does not intend to stand in the political spotlight for very long.
“We’re in it together,” he said. “My only concern is that it not become some type of media circus.”
Perhaps she has him bamboozled too. She never mentioned the so-called Cain assault until last Friday....so much for dramatics.

“Yesterday afternoon a tipster shared Sharon Bialek’s history with me, at least according to my tipster. Bialek, I was told, conceived after a one night stand during the 90s and then demanded a settlement in excess of 1 million dollars in exchange to abort the pregnancy. This demand was later dropped. “Because she believed she could make more money through child support,” explained the tipster.”
“Then the tipster said Bialek had sued WGN Radio in a sexual harassment case. As it happens, an old boss of mine is now WGN’s General Manager. I fired off some questions by email. He hasn’t replied. He replies to most of my emails in a matter of minutes. This time not even a “No comment,” from his desk. It may just be that he’s busy and after checking some websites of his competitors I found Bialek left the radio station before his arrival. There may be confidentiality agreements. If her departure followed such a suit I guess there could be two conclusions. Men can’t help themselves in her presence or she’s a serial accuser. I saw her picture on the web last night and certainly she’s a good looking woman. A goddess however, she’s not. ”
Court documents released Tuesday regarding a custody battle with the father of her 13 year-old son show that he’s paying $66,000 this year in child support.
The documents also indicate that 11 years ago the boy’s father alleged that Bialek had “significant mental and emotional problems” that kept her from properly caring for her son.
