Remember H. Rap Brown?
He was infamous as a member of the Black Panther Party during the 1960s. Well, he's back! Now he is known as Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin (born October 4, 1943, as Hubert Gerold Brown).
He is leader of the "Ummah" (the brotherhood), a group of mostly African-American converts to Islam, which seeks to establish a separate Sharia-law governed state within the United States.[Per Atlas Shrugged]
Ah, yes; together at last.
"On November 18th, 2011, Muslims held a rally in New York City. The point of the rally was supposedly to protest the NYPD's surveillance of the Muslim community. As the rally progressed, however, Muslim leaders acknowledged that they share the goals of the Occupy Wall Street Movement, especially seizing and redistributing wealth. Indeed, Muslims claimed that the redistribution of wealth is commanded by Allah."
I guess the excuse is that it can't be wrong or a crime if Allah commands it be done. Murder, mayhem, rape, and now pillaging - all OK if you do it for Allah.
Serving a life sentence for committing murder evidently is no barrier in Islam to leading a religous group:
" H. Rap Brown, was chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee in the 1960s, and during a short lived (six months) alliance between SNCC (Then known as the Student National Coordinating Committee), later the Justice Minister of the Black Panther Party. He is perhaps most famous for his proclamation during that period that "violence is as American as cherry pie", as well as once stating that "If America don't come around, we're gonna burn it down". He is also known for his autobiography Die Nigger Die!. He is currently serving a life sentence for the 2000 shooting of two Fulton County Sheriff's deputies, one of whom died." [Per Wikipedia]
Wow. Just wow.
It is amazing the number of people involved in the 1960s political movements who are crawling out of the woodwork now. Even those in prison, such as H.Rap Brown, serving time for murder!
I own that book.
The MSM rarely comes out with anything blatantly tying the two factions together. This march in NY did just that.
