Businessman Herman Cain has officially suspended his presidential campaign citing "false and unproved allegations" and "distractions and hurt" to himself and his family. He is moving on to what he calls Plan B - pushing his solutions to the nation's problems from outside the electoral process. But before his presidential campaign fades into history, there are some lessons to be learned from how the Cain train turned into the Cain train wreck.

The lesson is that state-controlled media decides who the GOP candidate will be.

If Cain’s version of the narrative is true, he should have taken a page from Justin Bieber (and his handlers): threaten to bring them into court for libel. That is the only way to handle such allegations.

Lesson 1. No proof or evidence is any longer required. All that matters is that the accusations have have been made

Now that the political establishment media scumbags on both sides have decide "Accusation equals proof" these same tactics of political lynching will be used against EVERY GOP candidate for Senate and House.

Well done you hysteric morons. Way to shoot your own political side right in the head.

Yes, it does. Where was the media when some guy insisted he had an affair with B. Obama? The media made no biggie of J. McCain dumbing his sick wife and actually marrying the mistress. And the media has been silent about N. Gingrich's affairs. Those leaning left whom I know hope Newt will be the candidate.

The lesson I learned from this is to never, ever, give my allegiance to a candidate supported by the likes of the Perrybots on this forum. I’ll take my time to decide what, if any, candidate I’ll vote for for president, but it will not be Rick Perry.

I still think this was all part of Sarah's strategery.

She knew what state-controlled media would do to her. She's avoided it so far because she is a moving target, but the fact is that if state-controlled media throws enough lies at you, weak-minded "conservatives" eventually believe it because they are weak-minded and don't like being bothered to have to fight for things they ostensibly believe in.

The Democrat/state-controlled media complex wants Myth because they know they can destroy him when the time comes, but there will be no clear-cut leader when the convention rolls around. That's when Sarah will make her move, and there will be nothing state-controlled media can do to stop it.

Lessons Of The Cain Train Wreck

If you throw enough unproven allegations out there you can defeat an opponent.

I have been on the Cain Train for months.

I have been following his campaign closely.

I watched the announcement today and am calling B.S. on Mr. Cain.

I now think it is most likely that there was some hanky-panky between Mr. Cain and Ginger White (and/or some other yet-unnamed woman).

A man who 1) believes our country is in dire straits, 2) thinks Obama is a disaster, 3) is courageous and has a servants heart, and 4) is 100% innocent of the charges leveled at him, such a man would not give the speech that Herman Cain gave today.

The speech was not about our beloved nation and this perilous moment in its history. The speech was about Herman Cain.

I am deeply disappointed in Mr. Cain. Yes, the left and the MSM are evil scum, but Mr. Cain had a rare opportunity to be an American hero and he failed to deliver. I’m through with Mr. Cain.

Palin won’t pick up the phone for the same reasons Cain dropped out.

Vetted? Not by leftist standards. They don’t have to prove anything, they make the accusation and do it over and over and whoever they target goes down.

Keep in mind they go down because of people on our side, not because leftists care about the character of a candidate for any office.
