Mark Levin calls out Ann Coulter for unfairly trashing Newt Gingrich
The Right Scoop ^ | Dec. 16, 2011 | The Right Scoop

Mark Levin accuses Ann Coulter (and BillO) of using what is a perfect opportunity to discuss Newt’s comments last night on changing the judiciary to instead trash him in favor of her candidate, calling him bombastic and minimizing him by saying that he never achieves anything anyway:

She won’t even give the man credit for what he has achieved! Taking back the House from 44 years of Democrat monopoly was never thought possible and in doing so he had to defeat the Republican establishment! You can’t even give him that?

No they can’t, because they have a hate-on. They have a hate-on. …

Do you know why I resent this? Because now we have a bunch of bullies running around. And Giuliani was 100% right. They’re trying to turn this guy into a crazy man.

And I resent it and I resist it! He’s not even my guy and I resent it and I resist it!

Mr Ed Coulter needs to get away from the NY/Miami circuit and move to Texas and find a real man to settle down with. Then she may begin to understand Conservatism.

Pray for America

He has no political conservative record—ALL and I mean ALL of the other candidates have at least SOME conservative behavior in their public service pasts.

Perhaps, but neither does a first time candidate. And, in some cases, people like Romney are actually restrained by their previous errors. Consider how strenuously his position on health care has to have been asserted specifically because of his previous weaknesses. I have a feeling that he may be the most trustworthy on that simply because he knows people are watching him very closely on it.

Sorry, ain’t going to buy a used car from THAT slick trick.

Well, I won't criticise that position, though I think there is room for seeing where people like Ann Coulter come from on him. I am open to accepting he is truly interested in pursuing what is generally a conservative course, though I am not enthusiastic about him. Not a really inspiring candidate if you ask me.

When the Left and GOP RINO establishment go after Mitt like they do the others I may reconsider.

Cause when both the liberals and ersatz conservative elite agree that he is the one best able to beat Obama I gotta double take twice.

The Great One is right as usual. And some are doing it to Bachmann, some are doing it to Perry, some did it to Cain and some are doing it to Santorum. All but a few have picked their guy and have tossed all principle aside to attack the other candidates. In ten years here I have never seen such a level of infantile knee-jerk me-me-meism.

Ain’t that the truth!

Unfortunately. All that talk after the ‘08 election about vetting our candidates (presumably in an adult fashion) was dropped like a hot potato. Or should I write ‘potatoe’ in the spirit of mindless conservative trashing?

O’Reilly knows what he’s doing. He clearly understands they were trashing Newt Gingrich.

He did not have the jouralistic ethics to point out that Coulter last election endorsed Mitt Romney and this time has already indicated she will do so again.

The dirty little secret none of them spoke to:

The Congress created the 9th circuit court so the Congress can take it away or revamp it or revise.

The same with any court except the SCOTUS that is itself a creation of the US Constitution. HOWEVER, even with Scotus CONGRESS has the authority to prevent the court from reviewing any piece of legislation it authors.

That fact in the Constitution overcomes ALL arguments that SCOTUS was intended to be the sole arbiter of the meaning of the US Constitution.

And if that isn’t understood, then the Constitution enables the CONGRESS to impeach, try, and oust any judge it wishes to.

Coulter is in the ranks of the DNC enablers. With so-called “conservatives” carving up one another, the Democrats will win.

Great job, by TGO!!! I’ve had it with Ann, Hannity and most other pundits.

Like Mark, I’m not that crazy about Newt either. But I will support him for now just to get Romney out of the way.

Anyone but Romney!!

I find it to be the height of hypocrisy for Ann Coulter, of all people, to accuse Newt of being “bombastic” and an embarrassment to conservatives. Really? We have a chance to get a strong candidate with at least some conservative principles in the W.H. to clean up the disaster that Obama has created and all Ann, etc. is worried about is being accused of being too conservative because it might embarrass us and we wouldn’t want to upset the liberals!? Huh??? So let’s just settle for Romney, a leftist rino. I guess when it gets down to it, we find out who the real conservatives are and who aren’t.

GOOD! Ann has lost her mind apparently. When she was on Hannity she said Bachman and ROMNEY???? were the only real conservatives. What???? What should anyone expect from a woman that pals around with that atheist left wing loon Bill Maher. What the hell happened to her?

That’s an interesting point. I will concede that, so far, the media and the Left seem to want Mitt to be the frontrunner and one has to wonder about that. Of course, it may come down to believing that he is the easy one to beat and that doesn’t always work out. Sometimes the person you think is easy turns out to be otherwise. It does seem that statistically Mitt does the best against Obama in polling, but that may not mean much when it comes down to crunch time either. We are still a bit early in the game, and much could change.
