Ron Paul Wins By Cheating: The Message From Missouri

Even though he was defeated in every primary and caucus, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) is still claiming he will win several states because of delegate support. The Paul campaign is now predicting victory in Minnesota and Maine, and says he is close to victory in Iowa, Nevada, Colorado, Alaska, Georgia, North Dakota and Missouri. The Paul team is highly organized and his claims should not be dismissed.
- In Taney County, Missouri, the results of the February 7th election were Santorum 58%, Romney 23% and Paul 11.5%. The result was reversed on March 17th when the Texan won 100% of the delegates at the county convention.
- Today Paul won all 36 delegates in St. Louis County while taking about two-thirds of delegates in Jackson County (Kansas City). The congressional district conventions are on April 21, and the state convention June 2. It's at those meetings that the bulk of Missouri's 52 delegates will be bound to presidential candidates.
- He also won all the delegates in Boone and Buffalo counties on March 17th. In Greene County, Santorum received 54% on February 7th but now will get only 6 out of 111 delegates, representing less than 5%. Paul has 60% of the delegates and Romney has 35%. The Paul camp is also claiming they will have a majority of all national convention delegates from Missouri.
- In Washington State, Paul received 24% of the vote, but took 100% of the delegates in the 6th, 36th and 46th districts.
- In one precinct in Larimer County, Colorado, Santorum received 23 and Paul got 13, but Paul collected all 13 delegates.
There is nothing wrong with turning out supporters for county conventions, but the Ron Paul Revolution wins many of its victories through cheating and sleazy tactics. They did not win the first vote so the Paul Revolution called a recess and then added their friends to illegally win a win a second vote. Carrie Boggs and Jenny Head Limcher, both of Branson, saw their activities first hand in Taney County. The doors were locked at 10 am but they were guarded by Paul supporters. Everyone was turned away except the libertarians.
- Boggs says What else was wrong with the caucus? One thing was the recount vs. the revote for chairman. The motion was for no new votes since it was a recount, yet new people stood up, making it a revote. That's how they took control. Linda Earney, a Santorum supporter, was turned away at 10:05 am, and Boggs says the Paul Revolution let some of their friends "sneak in at 10:30 am. The Paul supporters were controlling the entrances.
- Limcher noted The Ron Paul people overthrew the chairman by a recount then bored everyone with delaying tactics, speeches and calling multiple recesses. It worked, and over 25 people left, and the Paul slate won everything by 7 votes. Limcher was so outraged that she told the story on the DailyPaul website.
- Ryan Conway of Cottleville emphasizes why the largest caucus made national news. He says: "In St. Charles County, the Paul backers began to assault supporters of other candidates, as well as police officers when they attempted remove people violating the caucus rules. The outnumbered police were forced to retreat until more officers arrived. It was declared a 'mass civil disturbance' by the St. Peters Police and four different police agencies were called in to help quell the riot. They included troopers from the State Highway Patrol, and 60 officers responded plus a helicopter."
- Ken Froeschner of Imperial, Missouri says "I was at the Jefferson County caucus. I was witness and the Ron Paul was to object, disrupt, delay and intimidate until they installed their chairman, an all-Paul credentials committee, and an all-Paul rules committee. That alone took more than 3 hours. Then they tried to speed up the proceedings literally screaming 'set aside the rules!' when those rules went against them, and 'out of order!' anytime someone tried to object or question the proceedings.
- "Many elderly attendees left as the day wore on and the intimidation increased. The bedlam caused by the Paulites would have made OWS proud. If they hadn't messed-up on a critical detail they would have succeeded. Instead of their all-Paul slate we were able to elect (after 9 hours) a slate that includes delegates from all four campaigns! 251,000 people voted in the primary, 220,000 voted against Ron Paul. I'm sure most Missouri voters had no idea that this could happen. The delegates should reflect the will of the majority, not the will a tricky, motivated minority.
The Paul Revolution claims other campaigns are cheating and they produced several videos on this topic. Most of their accusations are groundless, and the biggest complaint was that some county conventions were held during Spring Break when the bulk of their supporters were on vacation. In Taney, the just ousted GOP county chairman was accused of not following the rules when it came to announcing the caucus. He had urged attendees to "bring voter identification cards to expedite registration." To the Paul campaign, this was a terrible sin.
- They claimed people who had valid driver's licenses and could be cross-referenced as a registered voter would be excluded. It was a complete lie. The GOP never said you had to have the cards, only that it would be useful and make the process faster. Limcher said:
It became clear right away that the new chairman just wanted to stir up emotions, was splitting hairs, and was a true troublemaker. Then the new chairman broke multiple GOP rules by 1) opening the doors during a recess, which is a huge violation. 2) letting people in after 10 am, 3) allowing new people to be included in a recount which was not supposed to have any new voters. Yet, this same chairman wanted to make a huge issue out of the wording of the request to bring ID cards. The new Ron Paul chairman violated very clear rules to his group's benefit.
- As noted above, the St. Charles County caucus was the largest in the state. It was held in a filled-to-capacity high school gymnasium. Ron Paul supporters refused to obey the rules, party protocol and common sense. They were loud and disruptive and two of his supporters were arrested. They did the same thing in Clay County, as well as in Iowa and Colorado. In St. Charles, the police asked the county GOP to shut down the meeting.
The Paul campaign claims he has won 80% of the straw polls, 90% of the online polls and his crowds are five times bigger than everyone elses. Their campaign is well organized and the claims could be correct, but they have won the online and straw polls through blatant fraud.
- At one point, FOX News had to remove Paul as an option and a spokesman said, It is not fair to have your supporters flood on-line polls. We cant tolerate this kind of cheating, and Congressman Paul should tell his supporters to cool it.
- The same thing happened to CNN, and they stopped conducting online polls because of the organized cheating.
- Paul scored a decisive victory in the mock presidential election at the Values Voter Summit, but the head of the group said it was because of ballot-stuffing. Family Research Council President Tony Perkins dismissed the results as irrelevant, citing 600 people who registered Saturday morning and, he said, left after Ron Paul spoke.
- Former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) said the same thing about the results at the Conservative Political Action Conference, You know those straw polls, at CPAC. For two years Ron Paul has won those because he just trucks in a lot of people, pays for their tickets. They come in and vote and then they leave. We didnt do that. We don't do that. I don't try to rig straw polls.
Dr. Paul has attracted huge crowds on college campuses, and has received close to 50% support among 18 to 29 year olds in several open primary states. The exit polls showed the majority of those voters were not Republicans.
Many of his supporters live in a Youtube world where if something gets enough hits, it must be true or correct.
- Another example of cheating is that Paul supporters created fake website with his opponents names rickperry.com and newtgingrich.com to name two in hopes of hijacking support.
- Prior to the Iowa caucuses, Paul supporters were encouraging cheating and said No Photo ID is necessary for any voter in the Republican Iowa caucuses. No Photo ID is necessary to register as a Republican at the caucus site, even if youre not already a registered voter. You may then cast your vote at the caucus on the same day youve registered (without a Photo ID).
- Mark Perkins, a Republican who attended the caucus, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, "The real winner in St. Charles was Obama, because such actions in the Republican Party only support the Democrat side. This was the worst thing that could happen."
- Frank Eggering, a county committee member, said "I was embarrassed by what was done, and I think we embarrassed the party."
- Michael Ruiz was pleased with the results and said "The GOP Establishment is withering and dying. Ron Paul folks are taking over and everyone should be happy about this!"
- Steve Vermillions reaction was Tragically, the Paul people have come to believe only one man's version of history and scripture. Too many Paulians are heading down the same path, acting as if only one man's eccentric views of history, constitutionality, and morality are the Truth, and viewing us nonbelievers as ignorant sheep duped and conned by utterly corrupt political and spiritual leaders. It is a spiritual attack on our nation, on true liberty and justice in the world. I'm convinced the ideas of their movement, especially on foreign policy, would lead us to national suicide.
- Carrie Boggs says Ron Paul and his supporters are anarchists. You can't have millions of people living together in a country and have no government at all. That's called anarchy. There's a place for government but not big government control.
- Jenny Head Limcher says We need to get the rules changed from a caucus to a primary so our ballots will count in the future. The spirit behind the Ron Paul supporters we witnessed was evil. They loved confusion and envied power. We sat stunned. It's sad to see good people duped by the Ron Paul Revolution, as they call their movement. He may have good ideas that tickle ears, but the spirit I witnessed behind the movement was not one I want to be a part of. Her advice is "Be prepared, involved, and consistent. Only prepared citizens who educate themselves can make their voices count, and only the consistent can stay involved to make a difference. Lesson learned.
- Ron Paul's foreign policy is like putting your head in the sand and saying, Come attack me here at home! I'm too busy taking care of myself to care whether you come or not, so bomb me here, please. At the last debate, Ron Paul compared today's terrorists to Communists, saying they, too, will fall through time if we leave them alone.
- This shows absolute ignorance of the faith behind them revenge. I translated testimonies of ex-terrorists from Chechnya who said their families live to ransom with blood those family members who have fallen to the enemy, and they will wait years and years until the time is right to shed enough blood to cover the blood of these lost family members.
- Today's terrorists will not just fall away. They will plan to attack our nation directly if we are not in their territory keeping their plans foiled.

It shows that he cares just as little about the will of the voters as Mitt Romney and Barrack Obama.

Paul is colluding with Romney to steal delegates from Santorum. All’s fair in love, war and GOP politics.

This is exactly how Obummer did it. Hijack the caucuses.
Obummer managed to hijack ALL the Democrat caucuses.
Ronnie can't even do that right.

Well. i don,t know anything about all of this crap but i do have a lot less issues with Ron paul than i do with any of the big government politicians.
Some people have a problem with Ron Paul because of his position on foreign policy, i worry about that some but at the same time i worry more about what this big brother attitude of both parties is doing to this country.
We need to get back to what has made this country the most prosperous nation in the world and that is FREEDOM. freedom of religion, freedom to live your life the way you want, free from government telling every one what they must pay an employee, freedom from them telling you what you must work for.
Get the Government tit suckers off of the tax payers backs, i am not talking about social security here i am talking about this stupid equality of living standard, shot gun weddings and the work or don,t eat attitude would be a good place to start.
Fire all of the worthless public servants that are not absolutely essential, which would be most of them.
There is only one way for the Government to promote the general welfare and that is to have the least regulations as possible and the least taxation as possible, remember, it does not say the personal welfare, it says general welfare.

I wouldn’t vote for Ron Paul if he was running against Satan himself. The man and his followers seem certifiably insane and have a complete inability to play by the rules and run an honest campaign.
FYI - I wouldn’t vote for Satan either.

Apparantly the Republican Security Council is a Facebook group (could not find any other webpages or links in google) whose goal is a strong military, which is why they are against Paul. Some of what they wrote might be illegal (have to see the actual documented rules first), but most is hyperbole.
A lot of the complaints are about how Paul’s supporters use YouTube and Fox News polls to make support look larger. But I dont see that as cheating any more than candidates who walk around with big entourages or have constant commercials and news pieces. That is what campaigning is, making yourself look better. And the other three candidates knew the rules, but they didnt get people in to be delegates. That’s on them.
Of the four left, the only one I believe will actually cut the scope of government is Paul, but his chances are very slim. The other three, while having different platforms, will not cut government.

I agree, while any one of them will be better than a moslem socialist it will not take the country back to the basics it was founded on.

If they hijack the most sacred political process we have to subvert the will of the electorate, then they are criminal-traitors all. These are most certainly *NOT* libertarians — they are a bunch of seditionist, traitors who only want legal weed and they are quite happy to destroy the country (or as much of it as they can) to get it. The only thing traitors deserve is a legally sanctioned, marginally competent firing squad with a nasty tendency to randomly gut-shoot.
If that ring-leading, nut-case Ron Paul acquiesces to these tactics and actions, then he just as much a seditionist traitor as those acting on his behalf. These tactics and actions *define* Ron Paul in my view.
Libertarians?!? My @ss they’re libertarians!!

90% of online polls? I guess that makes him President of the Internet, then. It just means he does well among stoned slackers on Reddits and Google, because they like hearing his speech about legalizing dope.

Okay, I am going to try and not be biased here, but I heard the county chairman (a Romney supporter). He SAID that he was TOLD to attempt to block Ron Paul supporters because they were worried that Ron Paul supporters would “take over” and that the delegates would not reflect the will of the electorate.
The Romney chairman immediately appointed his own executive, rather than taking it to a vote as rules state. Once a new executive is appointed, you can change the rules pretty much however, you want, and he was worried about a Paul supporter being in there.
He also said no cameras. Later, he said that he was wrong on both counts. This is what freaked Paul supporters out. The two Paul supporters who were arrested, were arrested because they refused to turn off their cameras. It was a public location, and I think ANYONE should allow cameras.
It comes down to this:
If you want an equal distribution to the “will of the voters” then you should have a PRIMARY. If you want the will of the most passionate voters who are willing to be delegates, then you should have a CAUCUS.
I am sorry, but nearly all of the “broken rules” are not actual rules since the new executive sets those. Whoever has more people in the caucus pretty much runs the whole thing. A lot of states switched to caucuses for this very reason... they were trying to give Romney and advantage here.
If you choose to have a caucus and it doesn’t work right then it’s your own fault. That’s why we have a primary here in Texas. The caucuses are just a mad house, in my opinion. The ability to change rules on the fly (which is what they allow) can create chaos... but it’s not cheating.
Changing delegate counts in the computer because it looks like Paul supporters have too much support IS cheating, and there is evidence of that.
Voters under 40 ARE Ron Paul supporters... after talking to about 60 GOP voters, I have yet to meet someone under 40 who is not a Ron Paul supporter. I AM NOT JOKING HERE. The 90% number is probably right.
If Romney and Santorum are winning the popular vote then that means that the majority of GOP primary voters have to be over 50... and I don’t think that will win the election in November.
My favorite candidate = Newt.
Only chance to win in November = Paul
I am sorry, but that is the real world truth.
Paul is not perfect, but he would cut spending and follow the Constitution 100%. And that makes him infinitely better than Obama.
It’s not that bad.
The last candidate who was “dangerous” and almost stole the nomination by trying to win delegates rather than the popular vote: Ronald Reagan in 1976.
