The Marine Corps has said that it decided to take administrative action after Stein declared on Facebook that he would not follow unlawful orders from Obama.

Don’t think I could serve today. Too may ways to hurt someone’s feelings.
Folks, if youre blessed enough to have income, and youre using FR but not donating to keep it on line, youre riding in the cart while others are pulling it.
Take one minute out of your busy FReeping and set up a monthly donation. Even $5 helps, you probably wont even notice it and if you do, youll feel good about it.
$5 a month for FR? A bargain at twice the price!!!
People do not realize what a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER we are dealing with.
Did they expect him to say he would follow even every unlawful order by Obama?
Sgt. Stein is obviously a member of www.oathkeepers.org.
Anyone who is military, former military or LEO should belong.
Gunner
And this may be true. Gary Stein may have crossed the line. But here are the consequences of his actions: he may win his case. Which, sets a precedence for future soldiers. There may be a situation, in the future, where we have a new President, in which Stein will be very supportive of him. Then along comes a soldier, who disagrees with this new President in which Stein is supportive of, yet decides he doesn't want to follow his orders either. Or at least say online, that he won't be following the Presidents order. Then this new soldier will be protected based on a case that Stein had won.
It doesn’t really matter if he’s a member of oathkeepers..it’s the oath “against ALL enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC” which the majority members of oathkeepers do NOT follow. Bunch a hypocrites.
Odumbo is a foreigner who is now on domestic soil. Every soldier should not even follow the CIC based on the false evidence of a Photoshopped birth cert.
As I see it, if you’re in the military and you don’t like someone up the chain of command, you do one of the following:
1) You leave, then you complain
2) You plan a coup (if circumstances warrant)
The idea that you can speak out while is uniform is simply crazy. If I went public about my gripes with my company, I’d be canned, and I’d deserve it. I always have the option to complain through the chain of command...or to leave. I don’t have the option to undercut their business.
Doesn’t the UCMJ say that personnel are NOT required to follow UNLAWFUL orders?
Sorry folks. Article I Section 8: "To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and Naval forces."
Our Framers provided for the obvious. They made an exception to the rights that go to civilians. I hope things work out for SGT Stein, yet while in uniform he should STFU.
That’s not what he initially said. He had to do some major back peddling.
Obozo should have someone read him the history of the Nuremberg Trials (assuming he can FIND someone in the WH who CAN read).
That “I vas yust follink oders” chit worked quite well then, didn’t it?
