So, tell me, who do we vote for? Romney=Obama=a vote for crimes against humanity
Holy Souls Hermitage ^ | 4/13/12 | Fr George David Byers

So, here’s the website: http://www.cc2w.org/ (you’ve seen their great video). However, I’ve got a question: Who do we vote for?

Mitt Romney created the contraceptive/abortifacient mandate and Obamacare, both of these men reject the Constitution on freedom of religion.

Is it a matter of voting for vice presidents instead of presidents? Don’t vice-presidents just go to state funerals?

Two quotes from Evangelium Vitae of Blessed Pope John Paul II:

(1) When a parliamentary or social majority decrees that it is legal, at least under certain conditions, to kill unborn human life, is it not really making a “tyrannical” decision with regard to the weakest and most defenceless of human beings? Everyone’s conscience rightly rejects those crimes against humanity of which our century has had such sad experience. [EV 70]

(2) In the case of an intrinsically unjust law, such as a law permitting abortion or euthanasia, it is therefore never licit to obey it, or to “take part in a propaganda campaign in favour of such a law, or vote for it”. [EV 73]

So, basically, it’s a crime against humanity to vote for Romney or Obama as that is a direct vote for total war on children in the womb by these totally cowardly, anti-American, abusers of power out to harm children. Is one really better than the other? Really? Tell me why…

If you're speeding toward a cliff at 100 miles per hour, does it really matter if you slow to 95 miles per hour? You're still going to launch yourself into the abyss.

it boils down to I would rather have Romney(gag choke)pick the next SCOTUS justice than the messiah.

lets wait for the convention and lets stir up that convention before we make that decision.

just say no to socialism in all forms, regardless of the letter (d or r) that follows the name of the candidate. a vote for socialism is a vote for socialism. period.

I’ll tell you what we do.

We still have seven months. We find a solidly conservative national candidate. We organise and build up a fund-raising apparatus and nationwide organisation. We organise drives to get this solidly conservative national candidate on the ballot in all 50 states. We go for broke appealing to conservatives (in all parties and independents) to vote for us instead of for Romney, while also articulating conservatism in a reasonable way to the masses. We also demonstrate the kind of rock-steady leadership that Reagan did that will sway many moderates to us, even if they’re not that naturally ideologically inclined toward us. then we win pluralities, if not outright majorities, in all of the states that Bush won, so WE win.

Totally agree. One is just as bad as the other. The destination is the same.

A year ago I was a ‘if Romney is the candidate I’m staying home Nov. 6 guy’.
But so much has happened vis-à-vis Zer0 and the E.O., foreign policy, economic policy that I don’t think our Country can last another 4 yrs. of Zer0 rule. Certainly not as we know it.
If I am alive come Nov. it might be the last election I do vote in and I want to make it count.

Therefore I plan to vote for Romney or whoever is the nominee of the Repub party.

Romney is the ‘Give us Barabbas’ vote.

in as much as zer0bama is ‘the messiah(sarc messiah)’I suppose you could look at it that way.....he certainly is no Palin, Newt, Santorum nor is he Colonel West or Cain....the GOP has wrangled this election to screw the conservatives...they just love to lose.

I have been here at FR since shortly after it started and normally in total lock-step with Jim R. However, I am confused on this one issue of the upcoming presidential election. I will put the republican party ahead of the democrat/Obama party anytime. I will vote for the alternative no matter the lack of difference. I see a glass half full rather than to throwaway an election as many did to the Country when Peroet ran against Bush to split the Party successfully.

Any one who thinks a Romney presidency will be equally bad as Obama has been is either blind, stupid, uninformed, or all of the above.

I wouldn’t quote or link to the Commie, rat ba$tard ‘The Nation’ and expect it to clear up issues here, or for that matter have anybody here read it.

that being said of the big 3, Churchill was the only conservative.
