The folks over at News Busters have compiled a list of memorable words from those who so love the earth that they have lost sight of what really matters. And of impartiality. And of reality.
Says, Geoffrey Dickens: So sacrosanct the liberal media believes its mission to be, that they havent even bothered to hide their bias.
How so? . . .

Earth Day is also Karl Marx’s birthday. That is no mistake.

Our own liberal rag, The Buffalo News, outdid itself in today's Sunday Viewpoints section. Taking up the whole first page and 3/4 of the second was a screed on Global warming. The headline of the piece is:
Stakes are high in race for president, with a sub-headline which says,
Obama's environmental record is a mixed bag, but GOP victory would reverse progress. A quote from the article is placed as a banner at the top of the page which states: Climate change is real, already occurring and principally caused by human activity. If we don't act soon, we'll be cooked - figuratively and literally.
So, you get the gist of it. More of the same old crapola. They ARE relentless, you have to give them that.

I just got home from the Rays baseball game, but I think there’s still time to burn some styrofoam.

I celebrated Earth Day by raking up all the yard waste I can find. Then I gather all our dangerous household chemicals, old bug spray bottles, dead car batteries and a few old tires and dump all of it in a pile with the yard waste and burned it.
As the black oily flames consume the trash and the smoke drifts toward Washington I say a prayer. May all the old hippies, liberals and the EPA die. Amen.
