DECKER: Obama’s inevitable shellacking
The Washington Times ^ | 5-15-12 | Brett M. Decker

Posted on 05/16/2012 3:49:34 AM PDT by radioone

Just about every objective indicator foreshadows a huge re-election defeat for President Obama. With every day that passes, Mr. Obama looks more like a loser.

That’s because there is doom and gloom everywhere you look. When government mathematical fudging is stripped away, unemployment is stuck over 10 percent. Economic growth is practically nonexistent and promises to slide downhill even more in the coming months with Europe and its banks rapidly collapsing. Due to Mr. Obama’s out-of-control deficit spending, the national debt is at a heart-stopping $15.7 trillion, which erases a whole year of economic output by our entire country. With the Supreme Court poised to strike down Obamacare, his only signature legislative achievement, the president will have nothing to show for four years in office other than record misery.

destroyed all real conservatives.

Soros-Romney-Obama’s game is accomplished.

In fact, the GOP traditionally does well with married women and those who go to church regularly, which is a big chunk of that demographic group. When the voting bloc is diced up by sex, Democrats basically only win minorities and those clinging to issues such as abortion and hopes for federally subsidized birth control.
As Rush says over and over again, Republicans should run on ISSUES, not on voting blocs.

“Soros-Romney-Obama’s game is accomplished.”

Look, Romney is not who we want, but he IS the nominee.
The goal now is to get rid of Obumbo, for the sake of survival.
While Romney is a liberal, at least he is not a Communist.

A second term of Obama could very well spell the end of America, if it is already not too late.

You all or nothing guys would just as soon go down with the ship as opposed to patching it up to float another day.

LBJ: May 75% approval. Won with 61% of the vote over Goldwater.
Nixon: May 62% approval. Won with 61% of the vote over McGovern.
Ford: May 47% approval. Lost with 48% of the vote to Carter [who got 50%].
Carter: May 40% approval. Lost with 41% of the vote to Reagan [who got 51%]
Reagan: May 53% approval. Won with 59% over Mondale.
Bush I: May 41% approval. Lost with 38% to Clinton [who got 43%. Note that Perot got 19%].
Clinton: May 54% approval. Won with 49% over Dole [who got 41%. Perot got 9%.]
Bush II: May 49% approval. Won with 53% over Kerry [who got 47%].

Stats are nagging things. I still will not take eye off ball as this POTUS will do anything to remain President for life. The DNC will start acting up soon as well to hold on to their power grab. Good possiblility that Hill will be trotted out. Anything is possible.

No.

We conservatives have been playing the vote-for-the-lesser-of-two-evils game for the last forty years, and where has it gotten us? The whole country is undergoing a downward slide. Well, I may not be able to stop that slide all by myself, but at least I can stop co-operating with it. It's time (and past time) to do something different.

So, no. You can elect Romney if you like, but you'll do it without my vote. I won't be a party to my country's ongoing trip down the tubes. No.

No, I would not LIKE to elect RINO Romney, but if you do not, you may very well be a party to the country going down the tubes.
You are on a sinking ship.
Are you going to refuse the life boat because of the seating arrangements?

You a mistaken.

What appears to be 'ahead' for the USS USA is an iceberg.

And it is an iceberg created by Team Romney.

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

WANT PROOF?

Mitt Romney wins much coveted Jimmy Carter endorsement

Gore Praises Romney's 'Climate Protection Plan'

Carville(D):
"It's a feel-good story, this Romney thing.
Romney is an ascendant guy
."

"I like this health care bill".

Sen. Hillary Clinton (D) on RomneyCARE:
"To come up with a bipartisan plan in this polarized environment is commendable."

I've come to the conclusion that people, such as yourself, WANT Obama re-elected to another 4 years.

Is Romney who I wanted? Oh HECK no. Not even CLOSE. Do I want Obama re-elected? An even BIGGER no.

So why don't you show a little intellectual honesty and just come out and say "I want Obama re-elected?" Because these are our ONLY two choices. People can stop all the pipe dreams of a switch at the convention...blah blah blah. this isn't the 1800's...and that SURE would get BHO re-elected.

So just come out and say it: "I want BHO to be re-elected" and state your reason. Because you have TWO choices. Romney (as detestable as that is) or Obama. ANY OTHER ACTION on your part serves to get BHO elected. PERIOD...and NOBODY can be stupid enough to think otherwise.

So at least be HONEST enough and tell us WHY you want him re-elected. At least I would respect a reason.

I mean...I've thought about it. Here is mine: People are idiots...and they blame the Captain who is sailing the ship at the time...and I think this ship (the USS USA) is going to sink in the next 4 years...REGARDLESS of who is at the helm. And part of me thinks it might be better if a dim had been leading it for 4-8 years. Maybe that would make an impression on the sheeple.

What's your reason?

When you are done trashing romney and obama wins a second term, where are you going to go?

I agree. Like it or not, Romney’s the guy. My state hasn’t even voted yet and he’s still the guy. Hold your nose and move forward. Our guys lost.

Ah, see? There's your mistake. Romney isn't a lifeboat... he's just the part of the ship that's sinking slowest.

No thank you. It's the Republican taste for compromise that got us into this mess, and I'm not going along with it any more.
