We are winning; defeating the evil that is liberalism in large and small battles ways every day. What is happening to the Susan B. Komen for the Cure Foundation governing board is a good example of our victories.
Last January when the Komen board was confronted with the fact that secretly produced videos proved Planned Parenthood would knowingly arrange an abortion for a supposed under aged prostitute, it did the right thing and stopped funding the death mills.
They listened to their donors who demanded they stop giving their money to a group devoted to killing babies.
Nevertheless, within days Komen caved in to liberal pressure and reversed itself on Planned Parenthood.
Thereafter the liberal lie machine kicked in with stories like the one in the Huffington Post about Komen having faced massive social media backlash since announcing the decision, with angry people flocking to its message boards .. to announce that they will no longer donate to the breast cancer charity. now the cold hard truth has come knocking on Komens door.
The real backlash, the one that cant be managed by the liberal Democrat cheerleaders in the media, has begun to immerge.
Tomorrow Komen will be conducting one of its run for the cure footraces through the streets of Washington DC the heart of liberalism- and the registration for the event is down an eye popping 37.5 percent.
In Sacramento a city that hosted 25,000 Komen runners last year saw just 18,000 or 28% show up this year. In Richmond the number of runners fell 18% while Tucson had 20% drop and Atlantas total number of runners fell by about 10%....

You save women’s lives by NOT contributing to female baby murdering Komen or Planned Parenthood monsters.
The corporation I work for dropped Komen this year and is fundraising for the American Cancer Society.
Surprised the heck out of me as well as delighted me. I gave extra this year just to poke a stick in the eye of the Komen Pink Bastids.
This genocide of young women by Planned Parenthood must stop. Now.
SGK can rest assured in the fact that whenever I see/hear their “runs to feel better” or whatever, I’ll quietly tune out and divert any money I have to charities that don’t promote murdering unborn souls.
The NFL should drop Komen pink too
I’ve contributed regularly to Kome for years but they’ve had the last of my money.

In Indianapolis the turn out drop was the same. I think it was down something like 20%. The local SGK people were bemoaning the fact that they were being hurt by a politically motivated national news story that they had nothing to do with. It fell on deaf ears. Who they really lost were many local churches who used to be quite involved in the RFC.
I think the attitude of my sister, who had been a big supporter of SGK professionally and personally, summed upped that of many around here. She said she couldn’t support any group that supported the killings of unborn children, period.
I have walked the 3day 60 mile walk twice. I signed up for this year after Komen withdrew funding on PP. I’m not doing the walk and I’m not raising funds. I am training however. I’m back up to 25-28 miles a week. Not bad for an old lady. It bothered me all the time I was training and walking but I told myself that even the Catholic Church had some money which was filtering into the abortion industry. After the debacle in January however, I cannot ask people to donate and I cannot donate myself. Now I have to decide how to tell my team.
We pay attention at places like the grocery store and do not buy any products that have the Komen ads on them. I bought a carton of eggs with their ads once, before I knew about this issue. Never again.
That place ain’t no charity.
It’s a business.
I don’t understand. Which is more important to you?
Kudos on your past walks and present, principled position on donating and soliciting donations for Komen.
I noticed a friend, who’s done several Avon walks in the past, didn’t participate this year. Do you know if the Avon Walk is affiliated with or separate from Komen and PP?
I actually did go and research Avon. I like them better. If you go to their websites they have links to all the people to whom they give the money. Most seem to be for research which is how Komen started out. Komen messed up when they shifted over to early detection and community outreach. There are some good free mamogram clinics which are probably there because of Komen but what happened with PP was that PP said, we have lots of women coming to us, give us vouchers for the clinics that still charge and we’ll give them to the women. And it is true that PP in some rural areas are the go to place for birth control and these vouchers. That was the camel’s nose under the tent.
I signed up for Avon but the only walk I was able to train for was in October and then my husband and I decided to go to Italy instead.
Komen has this huge community and Avon isn’t that big - yet.
Thanks for the info. I felt better, instinctively, supporting my friend’s Avon Walks, but didn’t know for sure if it was Komen/PPA related.
When my uberCatholic brother died a couple of years ago, his apolitical family suggested donating to Komen in lieu of flowers ... I didn’t know what to do. I gave to a local RC church’s right to life program instead. Often people mean well but support causes that divert their well-intentioned donations to things the donor would never, ever support.
It’s just a shame something like breast cancer, or any cancer, has to be hijacked as a political tool. It strikes me as ridiculous, essentially money-laundering, for one foundation to give to another foundation. If I want to donate to PP, I’ll donate to PP, don’t need to donate to Komen expecting them to make a PP donation for me.
