Food Stamp Nation (vanity)
Posted on 06/20/2012 10:34:48 AM PDT by hecht
Has anyone else noticed the food stamp ads on the radio. I guess Obama need smote parasites on the dole at taxpayer expense. Aren't you glad that you work. I have no issue with a safety net for the truly needy, but to condone parasitical behavior is obscene.

They actually have a recruiting budget. The bureaucrats are incentivized to go out and expand the rolls. I have heard their radio ads, seen signs on college campuses, and flyers left at churches, all trying to recruit new parasites.

It is my understanding.. which could be wrong.. Federal and states give ummmmm money to local governments to sign up folks for benefits. I am not sure of the scope. I do know they get matching for “education” regarding the SNAP program. So, every sign up or sign in probably qualifies them for that. I am sure Mickey Mouse and Juan Valdez are frequent entries.

Ill admit it. I just went on FS last week. But, I just became unemployed after 30 years of continuous employment. I have a wife and 2 kids to support and Im bustin my ass to secure new employment."
Good. You're honest. Besides, if you're helping to drain the debt regime at this point in the default process, you're part of the solution (default, government shutdown followed by resumption of production and small government). Meet those who are not so honest while shutting down our private sector (reason for so many hard working folks having to go on food stamps).

Yeah, but I’m *paying* for his raw meat.
Can I get food stamps for him?
$200 buys a *lot* of ground round and beef hearts.
