Posted on 07/27/2012 9:41:25 PM PDT by John Semmens
Senior Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod accused the GOP of running ads that cast a negative pall over the campaign. Axelrod said he had a particular beef over the use of the you didnt build that quote.
The GOP is playing on the egotism and greed of every small businessman in America, Axelrod complained. These self-centered twits congratulate themselves on their brilliance and hard work, but the fact of the matter is that the President is right on this issue.
The business owner may think I took the risk, or I put in the 14-hour days and conclude that he deserves the profit, Axelrod elaborated. What he overlooks is that the government allows him the freedom to take risk and to work hard when it could just as easily take everything he has, as many governments throughout history have done. Every atom used by every business was in existence long before it opened its doors. Therefore, everything a business makes is built from the common inheritance of humankind. All the President is trying to do is ensure that the benefits of this common inheritance are fairly distributed.
Axelrod dismissed recent polls showing that business owners prefer Romney to Obama by a two-to-one margin. Romney may capture the constituency of the greedy, but were far ahead with the constituency of the needy, he boasted. Our figures show that among the far larger cohort of those on food stamps the President enjoys a ten-to-one margin of support.
if you missed any of this week's other semi-news posts you can find them at...
Would somebody please explain to this nimrod how many people get paid before the “self centered” owner of a business sees their first dollar?
It’s only “negative” when the Republicans do it. Axelgrease can soleve this problem he has just by pretending the Republicans are DemocRATS.
That's a keeper John.
Sounds just like the seminar callers I’ve been hearing on talk radio this week. Have you been writing their talking points for them John?
Hmmm.... Can I get some extra butter?
Well written, as usual. You live inside the heads of the collectivists.
Axelrat, you SOB, it was my ancestors` muskets and blood at Bunker Hill that gave us this freedom from tyranny as God`s birthright, not your Communist govt, you SOB commie. Freedom will be guaranteed by that, not you, you SOB pig commie nor your Obummer tyrant comrade pig.
Semmens uses his evil genius to torture the truth to the surface, by pretending that it's fiction. His "semi" satire nicely illustrates a scary Chicago-style message.
Another fine column John.
YOu had me going again John, that is just what
Axlrod would say.
The Romney campaign is hitting paydirt, so the creep starts crying. Oh, for another Juan McCain! Bob
Would you settle for some government cheese?
Nice try Assorod! I hope we beat Zer0 like a tin drum and you cry yourself to sleep like a girlyboy every night.
I liked this:
In New York City, Mayor Michael Bloomberg suggested that police should go on strike until everyone in America surrenders their guns to the government. Atrocities like this wouldnt happen if the police were the only ones that had guns, Bloomberg argued. I know some will characterize that as a veritable police state, but you have to admit that police states dont suffer from these kinds of crimes.
In a police state, when such atrocities occur, it's at the hands of agents of the state, and none dare call it a crime.
"Another fine column John."
Hear, Here! Excellent work, Mr. Semmens.
Axlerod is an F***ing idiot along with his boss.

These comments are so unbelievable as to be wondered at what kind of power have these people that they can say things this utterly outrageous and think that they can get away with it.
They have just called every small business person in America self centered twits. He has said that the government is god and that they should be happy that the government allows them to work when it could take everything they have. This is so exceedingly preposterous as to be unbelievable.
It is unimaginable that a government official of the White House would ever say such utterly communistic and despotic things. And then he brags that they don't need small business people because they have all the poor people who have been forced by their failed policies into needing food stamps and that they expect they will all come out in hordes and vote for Obama. It's looks like they relish people being forced onto food stamps because they think that it means votes for them.
I sure hope and pray that their ideas about where they are at concerning votes is as delusional as their view of reality. He speaks openly as a communist, without flinching. Again, totally shocking and unbelievable that anyone could be this low and there not be an outcry that you could hear on the moon.
Whoops, I just noticed that it is one of your satires. Just clicked on the headline without noticing it was one of yours. It’s late, I’m tired, and you got me. Good job. Funny, no matter how weird this article is, it is likely where they really are at. Good night!
