Actually, I would appreciate if people didnt remake anything. Some originality would be nice. While, I would appreciate no remakes, this goes double for ones with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
It as actually quite interesting how many of Arnolds films were science fiction or fantasy based. It is also interesting how every remake of one of them is a complete flop. The latest edition of Total Recall going to the remake scrap-heap is prime example. Great CGI, No originality and No Arnold equals epic fail. It seems the original which was recently called cheesy by some critic did far better at the box office than the new one which is cooler looking.

Actually, there is one movie that is about due for a low-budget, low-risk remake: Hercules in New York (1969).
First of all, it’s been a long time since the last live action Hercules movie, and the last of them, with Lou Ferrigno (83,85), were hilariously campy. Low rated, but a guilty pleasure. But that’s o.k. That’s what you want in a Hercules movie.
I’m sure they could get many dozens of body builders for various roles, and a few might be able to act. As well a large number of very buxom women.
And they should also strive to keep the Mediterranean flavor to the movie. Oddly enough, stop action animation would be far better than CGI for most things, instead using the CGI more subtlety.
They would have three choices in settings: classical, campy, or fish-out-of-water modern. I would start out with classical, to establish the character.
No, I'm not a big fan.
Yes the new actor playing Spock is homosexual.
I don’t think it will be long before the homofication of movie ‘icons’ so to speak, is in full swing.
I can easily see some hypermasculine roles being gayed up to help ‘normalise’ young men’s views that they are ‘just like us’. And to be looked up to.
I know they do it everywhere else but so far the Supermen/Arnie type roles havent been killed through anything but bad/worse acting.
No biggie, no one can totally recall how bad it is.
This may be totally off the subject, but I’d like to see a sequel to Commando, where daughter Alyssa Milano is the badass commando saving Ahnold from bad guys.
So the Sperminator is a shawty.
When Arnold was a popular movie star either that stuff hadn't happened or people didn't know about it.
Sure he was a lousy actor, but that's typical for action stars -- Stallone, Van Damme, Norris, Chan. Maybe Willis and Statham are a bit better.
Now that all that stuff has happened (and he's been out of pictures for years) he's really not that popular.
Wouldn't surprise me.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
