Is a Reagan era “silent majority” back lash against the pro Obama bias media coming?

Gallup has just confirmed what many of us have known all along. One of America’s largest polling firms has released the results of a survey dealing with people’s trust of the media.

Its findings SHOULD be of great concern to the Democrat Media Cheer Leaders but it won’t be. They are too busy lying to worry about we think of them. Nevertheless, Gallup says that essentially 60% of us don’t trust the media while just 40% do.

This negative/positive split is the largest Gallup has ever found. Of course the Democrats trust the media at 58% and why not, they are on the same team and the media tells them the lies they live by. But neatly tucked away in the report is an item that SHOULD make media heads explode!

It tells us 61% of Independents don’t trust the media and considering that Independents are supporting Mitt Romney by about 15 points lying Barack Obama into someone the Independents can vote for is a tall order for the media.

Independents and Republicans’ trust in the media is down sharply even since 2008. ………mistrust the media …. obvious over sample of Democrats and under sample of Republican in reported polls.

The constant barrage of negative stories about Romney even when the is little or no “there there” adds to their mistrust. Positive stories about Romney or his campaign just don’t get mentioned.

“….this kind of bias ….. poll of [NBC website] readers shows they favor Romney 38/30.

Moreover those leaving comments about the candidates expressed negative feelings toward Obama by 60/40 and positive feelings toward Romney by 51/49.

Obviously we don’t believe the Democrat’s media cheer leaders’ fake “feel good about Obama’s chances” stories and the barrage of hate against Romney isn’t swaying us.

They won't be able to smother the stink from the fake phony fraudulent "polls" much longer. It's nice to see Drudge stepping up to help in the fight back. Watch for media scumbags to say "They are attacking the messenger."

I’m surprised about the 60/40! I would have bet on 80/20.

Rural Wisconsin has doubts about Romney

The Obama media daily produce this propaganda:

By Alana Samuels Los Angeles Times

7:16 a.m. CDT, September 24, 2012
BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. — This small town exudes the kind of old-fashioned American values that Mitt Romney highlighted in his convention speech. A garden club organizes bright flower displays on the streets, and residents patronize the two archery clubs, the three barber shops, the shooting range and the churches scattered among the town’s leafy streets.

But some residents in this town of 3,600, located in a swing county that voted for Obama in 2008 but supported Republicans for both governor and U.S. Senate in 2010, say their concern that Romney doesn’t really understand people like them has grown in recent weeks.

“I think he’s a little out of touch. He has grown up as kind of an elite,” said Darren Durman, who runs the Merchant General Store, a candy and toy shop in a 1912 building where Durman’s great-grandfather once worked selling shoes.

Romney’s recent comments about the 47% of America that doesn’t pay taxes only solidified Durman’s decision to support Obama, who visits the state Saturday.

“Basically, he was saying anyone that was going to vote for Obama was a deadbeat, but most of us are hardworking people,” said Durman, an independent who voted for George W. Bush in both 2000 and 2004 and Obama in 2008.

Durman’s views illustrate the problem Romney is confronting in rural areas where he is counting on overwhelming support: Voters identify him as an elite who isn’t concerned about the problems of people who work for a living, the same issue that confronted Democratic nominee John F. Kerry in 2004.

Absolutely !! But the fervent belief the "Anonymity is the best Defense against Tyranny" keeps them silent. The "Regime" has about 5 weeks left in power.

I am hoping that patriots everywhere can help turn this election into a referendum on the media. We have tons of references to share with others and use to start educating young people and those who are still in the habit of reading the morning paper or watching the 6 o'clock news to get information.

The people who make millions deceiving America should be exposed and ridiculed. The Brian Williams, the Matt Lauers, the Andrea Mitchells and on down the line should be made to answer for their work to help destruct our country.

The worst-case scenario, and not that far-fetched, is that the producers go underground. That’s when the looting begins. Americans seem to know this instinctively, judging by the boom in gun sales.

The media didn't sway us in 2010, and learned nothing from it. The media didn't sway us in the Wisconsin recall either.

The liberal media does not now, nor have they ever feared a loss of credibility. What they fear is a loss of relevance, and their embrace of Barack Obama 2012 will get them there.

Then, and only then, will they care about credibility.

“I think he’s a little out of touch. He has grown up as kind of an elite,”

Yeah! Vote for someone who understands normal people. Like a guy a who only attended elite private schools in Hawaii, raised by his communist bank VP grandma, then Occidental, then traveled to Pakistan as an 18 or 19 year old. (doesn’t everyone at that age have 2 passports and a sufficient world travel budget?) Then attend Columbia and Harvard on the dime of a Saudi Prince. Then he gets a job on wall street that many kids would sell their soul for. But this common man feels like he’s “behind enemy lines”, and quits.
Don’t forget a huge dope budget.

He’s such a man of the people, a real mensch, salt of the earth type. LOL

Gallup says that essentially 60% of us don’t trust the media while just 40% do

What is interesting about this percentage spread is that on every important topic, when the proper questions are asked, the numbers are 2/3rds conservative to 1/3rd liberal. This 60-40 is pretty close to that.

Distrust of mainstream media hits record high
September 21, 2012

Americans disgust with the mainstream media has reached new highs, with almost two-thirds of Americans, an all-time high according to Gallup, distrust the liberal major media outlets.

Also, the number of Americans with fair or stronger confidence in the MSM has also reached new lows.

Gee, we wonder why?

And they wonder why their viewership (and by extension their ad revenue) is off so sharply in recent years.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Gallup) — Americans’ distrust in the media hit a new high this year, with 60% saying they have little or no trust in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly. Distrust is up from the past few years, when Americans were already more negative about the media than they had been in years prior to 2004.

Graphic courtesy Gallup.

UPDATE:

Want two prime examples why Americans are fed up with the mainstream media?

Here are two from just the LA Times when it comes to civil right:
Crime is down — and so is gun ownership

LA Times makes believe that gun ownership is down, despite month after month of new records being set on gun sales.
Does ‘Innocence of Muslims’ meet the free-speech test?

LA Times publishes a screed by a freedom-hating leftist suggesting that we should limit civil rights where someone, somewhere might become “incited” to violence as a result of your speech. The same contributor goes on to equate Christians with the Muslims rioting over YouTube movies and anything else they deem blasphemous to their prophet moe.

“The liberal media does not now, nor have they ever feared a loss of credibility. What they fear is a loss of relevance, and their embrace of Barack Obama 2012 will get them there.”

Totally true. And their relevance is indeed waning as they drive away more and more of their paying customers to alternative news sources due their obviously ever-increasing pro-”Progressive” bias. They may even know this, but they are simply unable to help themselves right their sinking ship because progressive propagandaism is so deeply rooted in their bones. Clearly they would rather sink than attempt a rescue by actual fair and unbiased news reporting.

And quite frankly, in my book, that’s a good thing. These anti-American scum deserve extinction and it can’t occur fast enough to suit me.

I would like to see reliable information concerning the percentage of those in CBS, MSNBC, ABC, CNN, PBS, etc. who consider themselves to be Christian and/or conservative. The last survey that I saw showed that about 7% of those in the media (as a vocation) self-identified as Christian, and a similar percentage claimed conservatism.

Since 70-80% of Americans self-identify as Christian, and only 7% of the media are Christian, wouldn’t this lead one to believe that CBS, MSNBC, ABC, CNN, PBS, etc. conduct systematic religious discrimination in their hiring practices? And shouldn’t they be subject to lawsuits, fines, etc. until they correct these practices? And wouldn’t a hiring a cross-section more representative of US society mend much of the media’s anti-Christian/anti-conservative internal bias?

The left has been crushing conservative institutions with these sorts of lawsuits for 50 years. Isn’t it time we gave them a dose of their own medicine?

One might make the same argument for conservatism, but only about 40% of Americans self-identify as conservative, so the bias is less evident. Also, I’m not certain that bias in favor of political affiliation is as susceptible to litigation as overt religious discrimination.

Just a thought...
