Just Who is that Intelligence Community Team Obama Keeps Mentioning
The Virginian ^ | 10/12/2012 | Moneyrunner

Posted on 10/13/2012 6:28:26 AM PDT by moneyrunner

Who or what is this “intelligence community” that the Obama is administration is quoting when they tell us that this shadowy “intelligence community” told them that the attack in Libya was the result of a demonstration about a video.

Let’s be clear, the only people who have told the American people that the our ambassador and three others were killed in Benghazi as the result of a demonstration that got a little rowdy are people who claim that they’re only telling us what they were told.

Isn’t it convenient that the members of the intelligence community that gave such a spectacularly incorrect assessment of what went on in Benghazi are not identified? I would really like to know who these people are and how they managed to mislead the entire Obama administration for a full month. It is particularly telling that they stuck to their story despite the fact that people in the State Department were actually listening in on the attack. That other member of the State Department knew that it was a terrorist attack within 24 hours. That members or congress and the press knew that it was a terrorist attack even as Ambassador Rice went out to five Sunday morning news shows to lie. That even today Joe Biden tries to keep the lie alive that “we” didn’t know what the truth was. I guess it all depends on the meaning of the word “we.”

I hope someone in the press corpse asks the question: just who were these member of the “intelligence community” that were able to mislead the smartest President the world has ever known. We want names. We want to know if these same people also provide “intelligence” on exactly when Iran will have a nuclear weapon. It will give us an idea of just how worried we should be.

Disagree, SaraJ.

Petraeus does not betray his country.

Remember, he has been a target of Soros’ and allies for years.

Please see my posts from #33 on.

Yet we are supposed to trust the CIA that they are on top of the Iranian nuke timetable.

They can't even protect a consulate, and lie to our faces when it's overrun by a military attack.

They even call a terrorist jihad attack in Fort Hood a "workplace incident."

Petraeus told the House after the attack that it was due to out of control protests over a video.

Hmmmm. I recall earlier in the spring many on FR hoping Petraeus would enter politics on the Republican side. Probably, many of them were touting Colin Powell a decade ago, too.

“Petraeus does not betray his country.”

It depends on the meaning of “Betray”

Does it mean he doesn’t betray his country if he does the job he is asked to do - even if it means arming terrorists with our weapons. The terrorists who want to take us out.

Does he “betray” our country if he is just doing what he is told but that order includes lying to Congress.

The heads of the CIA are Medusas with snakes attached to their head.

Their history is ripe with overthrowing governments. It’s their forte. They also have a history of whacko operations that make no sense that blow up in their faces.

He might be doing what he is told but that doesn’t mean he isn’t betraying the trust of the American Public.

Ask the American People what they think about giving weapons that can take out airlines to Al Qaeda.

Does Patraeus answer to Panetta? Do Military heads of the CIA have a statutory obligation to take orders from the Director of the DoD?

Maybe the AQ target in Benghazi actually wasn’t Stevens. Maybe it was the NOC list. So, whoever knows that is the next target.

Has anyone ever head of term, Serve at the Discretion of? Have all of us understood the meaning of the term? It boils down sometimes to how many lies will the one serving tell to cover for those who are stating tell lies. Turns my stomach. There is more than one whistle-blower in this instance. My belief is from the passion exhibited at the hearing, a few days ago, the documents and proof go to the top. The meeting between zer0 and hillary tells me both are on the hook, and the lies are still being spun and people are being told to lie, or lose their job. The fun, if one can call this fun, is the truth is being held by those not lying. Those presently in charge plan, as has been stated by others, is to run out the clock, win the election and sweep this under the rug. This is where the American People must rise and pull back the rug. Politicians are politicians. All politicians should never be trusted. Even though there should be no politics involved, there is. It is regrettable because people in the highest offices of our land have lied, and this time people died. I’ll wait for the truth, vote first, and pray the American people sweep those in charge of the Executive Branch from office. Then should it be done and those in the Executive Branch are swept from office, will pray some more. First things first. Then during the time from the election to January 20 all must be on guard, for the fox will still be in the hen-house till that date of January 20, as all know. If the election is lost, will prepare, pray, prepare, and pray. America’s future has never been in greater doubt than today. Can see November from this house!

The press are part of what I would call the ‘Government, Media-Entertainment, Academic Complex’ that has as it's foremost goal the perpetuation of its own stature and power, and as a secondary goal the transformation of American society into something that looks like socialist Europe (only more socialist).

I think it's really important to break things down into their fundamental elements, and the common thread among the all of those in the ‘Government, Media-Entertainment, Academic Complex’ is ego. Ego is the number one motivating force behind liberalism - at least at the level of the leadership, organizers, and visible sycophants in the media, entertainment industry, and academics. Never doubt that.

People like Streisand, Penn, Couric, Krugman, O’Brien etc. etc. etc. don't need more money - they have plenty. They don't need to be liberal activists to ‘help others’ - they could do plenty behind the scenes to help those in need financially and otherwise. They do what they do because they think it makes them bigger, and more important in some way. They think of themselves as part of the ‘special’ elite guiders of the world - smarter and more wise than the rest of the ‘masses’, and ordained to guide the masses - and be adored by the masses.

This is absolutely, without doubt, a big part of what drives the media today. They think they are an important component of the guiding elite - and they will ultimately not report or pursue things that support those who want to give more power back to ‘the masses’ and diminish the power of the ‘Government, Media-Entertainment, Academic Complex’ - with which they identify and from which they derive their ‘specialness’.

CIA Director Petraeus does not answer to Secretary of Defense Panetta. Petraeus’ boss is Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who reports to the President.

However, either the DNI or his Principle Deputy must be a commissioned military officer.

who were these member of the ‘intelligence community’”

Just as Paul Ryan couldn’t counter or comment on Biden’s lie about the “intelligence didn’t tell” comment, due to Ryan’s position in Congress, we have no need to know, either.

We have a duty to protect our national security. Even here.

We want names.

It would be great to have the names, thus am in agreement. Do not anticipate the names being brought forth because zer0, hillary, panetta, and the media are in full spin mode and then there is an election coming soon. Watch for maybe a name or two, though best guess is those who have the finger pointed at them will be only to cover for zer0, hillary, panetta, and the media. The primary four suspects are running for cover and a cover-up. They (zer0, hillary, panetta, and the media) will have help beyond belief, as all here know.

I have never been a fan of Petraeus. It must be my suspicion of the big ballyhoo that made him into some kind of a super military genius when his appearance did not convince me of such. All that along with so many people thinking the guy was the answer to the political problems of the USA. I’ll be glad on the day all the Obama toe sucking military persons have to publicly face the dishonor of holding onto Obama. Shame is not strong enough for those persons.

How about this ... does not someone in the Military have to keep an eye on this zer0 crowd? The truth is difficult to find, in this day. I trust our Military to seek the truth everyday.
