Joe Biden channels Sgt Schultz on Libya: "I hear nothing, I see nothing, I know nothing!"

Many FReepers will recall "Hogan's Heroes," the 60's TV comedy set in a German POW camp during WW II. The bumbling, stumbling, fumbling guard, Sgt. Hans Schultz, is the most iconic character from the show, and during the VP debate, Joe Biden obviously channeled Sgt. Schultz in an attempt to distance himself, and Obama, from the fast growing scandal about the utter lack of security at our embassy in Benghazi, which led to the deaths of four Americans.

"The President and I, we were NEVER told about it," Biden vehemently protested to Martha Raddatz.

"I hear nothing, I see nothing, I know nothing," Schultz would bellow to any and all, while looking the other way as Allied POWS plotted and schemed right under his very nose. He would do anything, say anything, avoid having to take blame, and accept responsibility, for all that occurred on his watch.

Schultz carried a rifle, which he never kept loaded, because he was always misplacing it, and the POWS would grab it.

"Give me back my gun, OR I"LL SHOOT!" Schultz would bellow. Which is a rather succinct description of Obama's entire middle east policy.

For those who don't give much credence to the paranormal connection between Biden and Sgt. Schultz, I would point out that Schultz was played by John Banner.
