On Fox and Friends this morning, Geraldo Rivera claimed that it was definitely the video that was the cause of the terrorist attack on the consulate in Benghazi. Not Team Obama spiking the football over killing bin Laden, not the drone attacks, just the video.
I suspect that this is going to be the new spin coming from the Obama administration. The video was so inflammatory that - while it did not inspire a demonstration outside the consulate in Benghazi, it so enraged the Islamists that they staged a terrorist attack on our consulate and killed our ambassador and three others.
That's the new story and they're going to stick to it.
This idiot has jumped the shark so many times he has a bridge over it.
He needs to head over to MSNBC..

...saw it and was really surprise he took that route after all has been exposed, his reasoning made no sense and was clearly an attempt to explain or deflect.....and it didn’t work. It was another safe opening.... FLOP!
Fox needs to fire Geraldo and send him packing. Give him the Beck treatment. His services are no longer needed or wanted. Beck needs to have his own Cable Network as well—drop the “Fair and balanced” mantra.
Jerry further destroys any credibility he had whatsoever. Can’t wait for WABC here in NY to finally dump his morning show. Can’t stand him anymore.

Yep, it’s the video that enraged Al Qaeda to attack the US consulate.
It’s also why they attacked the twin towers on the original 9/11.

The bad guys did something in April and June, and there was also an assassination attempt on the British ambassador. Then they sat down and thought, “let’s wait until some smutty movie comes out before we do our next attack. Our previous stuff was too random. Also, doing it on 9/11 for it’s own sake is way too obvious. We need a more obscure point of reference, so we look more sophisticated.”

Every once in a while, ole Jerry Rivers reminds us of what he really is....and why I cannot stand this man.
Then along comes Jerry Rivers, who is so smugly ignorant and wrong, that I feel better again.
