One point being made is that Obama won by going negative. Think of the ads. We should have had commercials about Obama eating dogs. Seriously, why do we hold back? They sure don't. RNC should have run ads with dark imagery and music and lists of Obamas communist connections and communist atrocities. Can we try this next time please?
I have been afraid since Nov 6th. We cannot live in fear. Enough fear. We are at a place where there is almost nothing left to fear. Be not afraid. We have God and each other.
Republicans missed the boat. They had so much ammunition for anti Obama commericials and they failed to produce them. They should have exposed his lies. Here are just two of my thoughts for commercials:
“Gas has nearly tripled under the Obama administration. Has your salary? Thats if you still have a job. Under the Obama adminsitration he has ceased our domestic oil exploration yet he gave Brazil 3 billion dollars of your money for oil exploration off their coast”
“One of the critical areas to help the poor get out of poverty is to get a good education. The Obama administration has shut down the school voucher system in the Washington DC area. This would have allowed inner city children to go to a school of their choice rather than be stuck in a crime infested school system”
The MSM of course would go ballistic. But, it doesn't matter what the GOP does, the press goes ballistic. Might as well hammer a message that just might get watched and get people thinking.
Imagine if we ran ads with Oboma saying energy costs were going to skyrocket because he was shutting down coal - in Pa, the coal state!
How about Oboma telling the communist SEIU single payer health care was the target, bur Obomcare was just the beginning?
All kinds of stuff like this was taped. It was right there. All the RNC had to do was use it.
I don't think we have a two party system anymore. I think the Repubs and Dems play good cop/bad cop, and pretend there's a real difference. When Repubs were in charge, they did NOTHING to turn back the tsunami of socialism. In fact, they spent and added more. America lost,but both parties in Wa. gained more power.
The politicians on both sides like their mansions, limousines, fine wines and caviar. As long as us tax slaves pay for it, why do anything to stop it?
When the SHTF, they can just hop into their slave purchased airplanes and flee the country until it's over. They can always come back later and remind us how much they were there for us.

Same here. I have gained nothing by being nice in any way. I’ve even gone so far after the election to cut off anyone that I know to be an Obama supporter or Democrat. Arrogant as it may seem, I believe they benefitted from my friendship in some way or another and that had to stop.
The Republicans did run the gas ad here in Colorado.
everyone says they don’t like the negative ads...that they won’t vote for the guy who does it...yet the results show differently. I say use every bit of ammo in our arsenal. Including taking out the mainstream media and starting an organization for the GOP that monitors the polls for voter fraud. we also need to focus on somehow getting the youth vote. I would rather be the party that offers free college educations thus getting the youth vote than the party that loses and ends up paying taxes to the welfare rats.
If you think about it, there is nothing redeeming about an association with a liberal in any form or fashion. They are a waste of time, a waste of the human spirit and a lost cause.
He's a freaking MANAGER, for heaven's sake. We discussed this to death in January.

Yep. It is hard to look across the table and realize even college educated people in high places can be complete idiots. They are older yet still resemble little kids rebelling against their parents. They have no clue about facts, just that “their guy” wins. There are no discussing facts, presenting them any facts, just their basically putting their fingers in their ears and yelling “I can’t hear you!”

The negative worked because Romney wasn’t already a well-defined positive. They defined him. That wouldn’t work as well in reverse because Obama was already a given. We needed someone more likable out of he gate than Mitt the plutocrat. Unfortunately the Republican field sucked badly, again this lectin cycle.
How much power will they have when Texas takes its’ 38 guaranteed electoral votes with us, Good Luck winning a national election without them.
They wound up voting for “The Devil they Know” as I predicted months ago.....the media started painting a rosy picture of the economy, and Fatso Christie sealed the deal to make people more comfortable to vote for Obama.
I would love to see that happen, but I seriously doubt it would.
Romney should have asked Obama Claus why he was using a CT SS#.

I think that is only part of it. I read a liberal post that said “the boy scout act doesn’t cut it anymore.” At first I was offended. Now I think that they think we are hypocrites. They know we hate liberals, but we act like we don’t. That is hypocracy. It could also be seen as dishonest.
True. Which is why I said we need to go after the media - hard, like Newt did in the primaries. Romney didn't. Like Repubs before him, he tried to get the media to like him. We need to start now and keep pounding the media every day from now until the next election.
I don’t want to be a hater. I don’t believe we have to hate to win and I think with the right candidate we can win without hating.
