I think what we are seeing is a panic attack of the liberal North Eastern GOP.

They know they lost, they don't want to admit the reason. Go left, they say, go left.

No, said johnny, as he wandered off the plantation.

SHUT UP! they explained...

I believe we have to support pro abortion candidates at times because the alternative is simply unelectable in certain states and districts. I also believe the best thing to do for now is to let the states decide which restrictions should be placed on abortion.

Prove it. Don’t just go Pavlov on me...PROVE IT. You claim to be a conservative. Prove it by your politics. Compromise of core values is not conservative. That’s just a fact. So are you ever gonna answer the question?

I've never heard of genuine Conservative calling another Conservative a purist with hostile intent

The next 4 years will out many a liberal Republican

Yea that covers it perfectly. ‘Shut up they explained’ is oh so liberal isn’t it? What do the GOP and the 47% have in common? They are both thinking they are entitled to things they aren’t.

Money, bennies, votes. All the same.

So which Republican did you support in the primary? I bet he or she didn’t meet your own standard of purity?

What I'm not doing, is NOT supporting your go-along-to-get-along bovine excrement and not supporting your liberal candidates.

Own it. The GOP is ruined goods because of people like you. Once upon a time, it was a party based on principle.

That's gone now.

It's a party based on 'compromise' and 'practical politics'.

This country was built by hard-headed, obstinate, impractical men that sometimes died for their beliefs.

You keep your 'compromise' and 'practical politics' and 'work within the system'.

Frustrating, isn't it?

“I believe we have to support pro abortion candidates at times”

Now explain to me what plank of conservatism allows for bargaining with the life of a child.

You ARE a liberal.

They are a defense contractor. Do you think a private citizen should be allowed to own them? Also, you didn’t answer my question about NBCR weapons.

You have to wonder, if the purists are no big deal, why some folks get so wound up at us 'purists'.

Hell, the GOP doesn't need us, doesn't want us, and we don't matter.

Except of course, for the downfall of western civilization.

What a bunch of maroons.

If we 'purists' don't matter, then why get your panties in such a twist?

If the GOP doesn't need them, why bother getting worked up about it?

We few should be flattered we wield this Godlike power. They must think we are Supermen. No other reason to expend such effort on the meaningless.

We shall be as Gods Johnny!!!

This country was built by great but flawed men who compromised on the issue of chattel slavery in order to secure their freedom from a tyrannical government who gave them no legal recourse. Washington and Jefferson were both slave owners.

Then compromise. Run conservative candidates with conservative values and we will vote for them. Govern as a conservative and we keep voting for them.

That’s the compromise for us to stay/rejoin the gop. Take it or leave it.

LOL! It always gets back to this with establishment republicans. Their self righteous outbursts are only meant to validate themselves to themselves for the choice they make to support a party of liberals. Uncomprimising conservatives are their whipping posts to flail on.

BS. I would never support someone who is pro abortion if I thought a pro lifer could be elected in their place. How do you plan on getting someone who is pro life elected in Massachusettes?

To bad there aren't any great men in the GOP today.

Your guy with the 'compromise' lost.

Your party will never get near the reins of power again. 2014 is going to look pretty bleak for the GOP.

Too bad they didn't go right, instead of left. But no, the liberal purists in the party insisted on 'compromise'. So the rest of the country gets to suffer from the liberal GOP.

That’s not what I asked. Are you going to answer the question I asked...or not?

If not, why not? It’s a simple question.

You will be lost in the wilderness indefinitely

Hell, with current GOP leadership, will I notice a difference? It's not like they are on a winning streak, or doing anything conservative.
