Palin/Bachman 2016. Unbeatable ticket?
Free Republic ^ | 3/26/13 | Mr.K

Before Newt Gingrich and the GOP try to peddle this insanely ridiculous "Reince Revolution" baloney (seriously- with a straight face he said that????) I would like to get out front with what I think would be an UN-BEATABLE ticket in 2016

Palin/Bachman

They would get ALL the GOP vote and at least half the Women's vote from Democrats.

Plus they would SPEAK THE TRUTH instead of GOP-approved pablum, and -like when Ronald Reagan spoke the truth- the PEOPLE WOULD LOVE IT

100% deportation is a fantasy that will never happen - and citizenship is a reward that is unacceptable. There are ideas between these two extremes....we need to accept one of these ideas and move on or we’re going to lose every election to people who support an open border and citizenship 100%.

I hate to break this to you, but women vote for good looking men.
If the Dems. are foolish enough to run Hillary the Republicans had better run Paul, Rubio, or Cruz.

OK Tell me who would NOT vote for this?

GOP?

Dem women are NOT all hard-core libtards. I know some Democrat women who are just misguided (and the sweetest and nicest people in the world) And they like what Sarah Palins says.

She has a ‘Reganesque’ quality we have not seen since, well.. Him.

Has the Tea Party been co-opted by elites?

No. Common sense.

Paul's plan is to plug the hole in the boot, then start bailing water.

It's NOT amnesty to force people already here to get legal or go home. Cutting off all benefits isn't exactly a "welcome mat".

At the rate the government is buying guns and ammunition, likely no difference at all.

OH yeah! I could DEF. go for Palin/Paul ticket too

But I think we NEED a woman at the top. I know it is not politicdally correct, but its probably true.

If HILLARY runs (Please God, No) then there will be trouble ahead for any GOP democrap-lite candidates like McCain and Romney.

Toxic and kind of wacky.

That ticket isn’t going to happen.

Palin went too Hollywood after the 2008 McCain-Palin defeat. She had a grand opportunity, sort of as the heir apparent, to step up in 2012, but she didn’t. She could certain draw large crowds, but she would also get a barrage of incoming from the MSM, the Dems and the GOPe. Her chances at actually winning would be slim to none.

[And I liked her — until she showed more interest in making reality shows and money than in being in the political arena.]

I’m thinking John Bolton, but I’ve seen a few FReepers complain about him - Trilateral Commission or some such. Gen. Mattis doesn’t have much name recognition. I don’t even remember him off hand. :-) I’ll have to go do a search.

ROFL. All of the moderate/swing women I know loathe Palin with the burning fire of a million suns and, I'm sure, have no interest in Bachmann.

This ticket would lose worse than Goldwater.

Palin is still my top choice. I trust her more than any other. Only problem is that I have zero trust in the GOP.

"...and women hate pretty women."

Not this one. I've always liked her, and yes, she's beautiful.

I'd vote for her if she ran, but I just don't think she will. It seems to me she's made her decision on that issue, and shows no sign of changing her mind.

It's too early for me to pick a candidate for 2016, but so far, the only one I like is Ted Cruz.

There is, however, plenty of evidence that she wants to help us out of the sorry mess we are in and that she has the tools to do it. How she uses those tools remains to be seen, but I have no doubt that she will do all she can and that her actions will be guided by her faith. By all appearances she puts her TRUST in God Almighty and that guarantees her success. Go Sarah, do whatever God leads you to do and you can’t lose.

Common sense? Ha! We'll have to agree to disagree on that, FRiend.

Paul's plan is to plug the hole in the boot, then start bailing water.

The hole will NEVER be plugged! Bailing water? How? By cutting welfare?

Never gonna happen.
