The Diana DeGette Guide to Gun Safety
Posted Thu, 04/04/2013 - 11:38
By Rep. Diana DeGette
In light of the on-going gun debate, as a service to my constituents I have drafted a quick guide to gun safety. It explains how guns work as I understand it and offers some commonsense tips.
HOW GUNS WORK
At right, you can see a diagram of a magazine. Magazines are ammunition, theyre bullets. If you ban them in the future, the number of these high capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there wont be any more available.
This is a diagram of an AR-15. Guns work by using the spring in the magazine to detonate the black powder inside the long tube at the end. The proton pack generates a powerful electromagnetic field that helps propel the bullet down the tube where it then exits and murders someone. Sometimes people murder each other with shotguns, which are similar to the AR-15 but have laser sights and vent holes.
SAFETY TIPS
1. Remember to never use your magazine more than twice, as it will become unstable after two firings.
2. Always load your gun by pouring black powder into the barrel, sliding the bullet in, and then using a stick to push it in.
WARNING: A RIFLE THAT HAS BEEN PAINTED BLACK IS AN ASSAULT WEAPON, ONLY HANDLE AN ASSAULT WEAPON IF YOU HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED BY AN ELECTED OFFICIAL OR CELEBRITY.
3. Do not attempt to eat your firearm.
4. Always keep your rifle disassembled when not in use to reduce risk from electromagnetic radiation that is generated when firing.
5. Never fire your gun.
WARNING: ALL MODERN FIREARMS CONTAIN POWERFUL PROTON PACKS, NEVER CROSS THE STREAMS OR ALL LIFE AS YOU KNOW IT WILL END INSTANTANEOUSLY AND EVERY MOLECULE IN YOUR BODY WILL EXPLODE AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT!
DON'T CROSS THE STREAMS

Boy is she a dummy, she doesn’t even mention the heat seeking bullets and the evil bayonet lug. Nobody even needs this stuff.
To: Gaffer
She is like Nancy Pelosi in that she is still using a 15-20 year old picture for her publicity photo.
Reality
What she sends to the media.

Gaffer! This old broad is a clone of Patsy Schroeder, her predecessor representing the city and county of Denver. Pay her no mind.

This must be the gun that nancy skinner from berkeley, kali wants to stop the manufacture, import and sale of. Any weapon that fires 10 or more rounds at a time. Right on there nancy. Lucky for us there’s not barrel shroud, bayonet lug, collapsing stock or pistol grip that would make it more lethal.

How far away should that big nasty thing be stored from an electrical outlet?

I would bet she would say my PINK rifle with the 25 cartridge magazine, is a nice fashion accessory. In other words, because it is PINK, she wouldn’t recognize it as a weapon of destruction that fires every time I pull the trigger.
Everyone knows “bad killing guns” are black. It’s the black paint that causes the gun to kill many people instantly.

How far away should that big nasty thing be stored from an electrical outlet?Way away, and don't cross the streams of the proton packs near power lines.
To: Marcella
She might like this modified AR-15 single shot. Particularly if it's available in pretty pastels. Great for shooting skeet!
To: muawiyah
Do you imagine this is connected to the governments massive ammo purchases of late? If it didn’t melt down into a pool of molten metal it could run through a billion rounds in less than a day. :)
To: smoothsailing
The new electronically fired weapons could run through ammo like a wino through Ripple ~ with just one guy firing it off.
I think target acquisition is still an issue with those weapons ` like after the first 5.5 seconds who are they still shooting at?
