Craven Waterboy Media Attempts to Sweep Egyptian Anti-Obama Protest Pics Under the Rug...

Such images from 'largest protest in human history' (17 million!)
against dubious Muslim Brotherhood regime not newsworthy?

With the White House conspicuous by it's silence...
how many Americans are even aware of the
sort of people we're backing over there?

Obammunist propaganda rags -i.e. Washington Post- are attempting to mock the demonstrators and paint anti-US/Obama/Patterson protests as illogical, but it's plain to see for any intellectually-honest person that the Obama Administration has backed (and given F-16's to!) an oppressive, anti-democratic, and not very popular Islamist regime in Egypt... and millions over there have already had about enough of it.

This isn't the first time the US press has buried major anti-Obama sentiment in Egypt, mind you...

The big question is: what will the Egyptian military do?

The second big question is: will they decide to go all the way in what they do?

All Arab Springs are equal but some are more equal than others. The leftist media is not so giddy over this uprising since their darling messiah can’t milk any self-worship and glory from this train wreck. Hypocricy on full display for those with eyes to see.

Good question, seems the line has been drawn when the military gave him 48 hrs and he blew it off

NOW what... a coup would put Obama in a bad place, wouldn’t it

I think Mr. Empty Suit should go over there and speak to the masses. In fact, I will gladly donate to defray the cost born by the government.

A coup would be bad for the Egyptian military, because the Western MSM would spin it as something the US needs to stop.

Supplying guns and training, plus some trained military members in civilian clothes, to the protesters to counter the MB gunmen, would be more difficult to spin as a coup.

I'm sure the Egyptian military realizes that if they just push the Islamists from power, it will just be the beginning of a long-term low-intensity conflict. The Islamists can bring Egypt down with a campaign of terrorism. The only solution would be to drive all the hard-line Islamists out of Egypt.

The Egyptian secularists are like Tea Partiers. Best to ignore them.

"This Egyptian hatred for Obama's Moslem Brotherhood meddling
is THE biggest story in American history.
But the MSM ignores and hides it ... for a reason."

If the alternative to a coup is to have the top leadership of the military riddled with Muslim Brotherhood fanatics, a coup may be preferable for almost everyone. If Egypt goes off half cocked against Israel, the Israelis will re-occupy the Sinai, close the Suez Canal and kill a lot of members of the Egyptian military, casting the military into further disrepute and making Egypt vastly poorer.

Egypt’s greatest assets, the Suez Canal and its unique historical wonders are worthless without peace. With peace comes prosperity. Muslim fanaticism offers only war, poverty and degradation. Cairo will become a whore-house for the Saudis, all done in the name Islamic solidarity. Westerners (and Israelis) have long treated Egypt and Egyptians with respect lacking from their coreligionists.

Islam and personal liberty are mutually exclusive. Therefore, a free constitutional democracy isn't going to happen in Egypt.

A mainly secular military junta is the best case government for Islamic countries, both for us and for their peopl:
- Islamists are a threat to the government and are therefore restrained, something a democratic government couldn't do.
- A military junta may go after weak smaller neighbors, and will have a need for an external enemy, but is unlikely to start a serious war. Their power rests in being the strongest player domestically and being perceived as needed. This also makes them easier to fight if need be, because they can't go to ground. Their obvious military targets are the life bread of their power. Destroy their airforce, ships, tanks, etc. and they become vulnerable to their domestic enemies. They will bend to avoid that.
- Military juntas are generally logical. They do not press an ideology, but make decisions based principally on remaining strong and in control of their own country.

Thus, an Egyptian military junta would want to make the streets safe for tourists and eliminate islamists. They may talk big concerning Israel, but they won't want any trouble with them.
