This Very Well Could Be The Worst Thing The Obama Regime Has Done

Absolutely beyond belief. They have nothing to work with after a year of the FBI digging in an effort to find something with which they can work to bring a civil rights case against George Zimmerman, so…

On Monday afternoon, the US Department of Justice appealed to civil rights groups and the general public across the country for “tips” on George Zimmerman in their pursuit of potential federal civil rights charges against the just-acquitted defendant in the Trayvon Martin killing. The DOJ actually went so far as to set up an e-mail address to allow such tips: Sanford.florida@usdoj.gov. The email address is slated to go operational by the end of the week.

Barbara Arnwine, president and executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law told the Orlando Sentinel that the DOJ had held a Monday conference call “calling on us to actively refer anyone who had any information” that would help build a case against Zimmerman. “They said they would very aggressively investigate this case,” Arnwine stated.

According to Arnwine, the call began at 3:30 p.m. with Tom Perez, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division of the United States DOJ, and representatives of the FBI on the line. Several prosecutors joined the call, too.

Thomas Perez, who is up for Labor Secretary and whose nomination has been held up by Republicans in the Senate so far, is the same walking disaster who opted not to prosecute the New Black Panthers for brandishing night sticks and making racist threats outside a Philadelphia polling place in November 2008.(SNIP)And now Perez is heading up what can only be described as a fishing expedition in an effort to find something – anything – which would support the nonexistent narrative of Zimmerman as racist who hates blacks...

What does, “put a hold on the evidence” mean?

It means it must be kept secure, the chain of custody maintained, for POTENTIAL USE IN A TRIAL. They are obviously deadly serious about compounding this witch hunt. It puts the elders of Salem to shame. This is no longer the Land of the Free.

The Constitution also forbids ex post facto laws, laws which make something a crime retroactively, or change the penalty for a crime retroactively.

Sign me up too. Remember Napolitano’s statement back in 2009 regarding those that opposed abortion, owned guns, or were returning war veterans? I’d say Freepers are already on the DHS list. Might as well get on a DOJ list too.

Yes, might as well fulfill the role they've made for us and make the most of it.

Why couldn't Zimmerman's attorneys make a special appeal to the US Supreme Court that this fishing expedition of information, SINCE A TRIAL HAS ALREADY BEEN HELD, is a violation of Zimmerman's 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th amendment rights.

I'm absolutely convinced that, even though Zimmerman won his trial, that he is being subjected to a "cruel and unusual punishment" by our federal government.

You better believe it. If conservatives don't go on the strong offensive over this, we've lost.

I know that. That’s why I said it. I was just illustrating absurdity.

Yes. And he is serving notice to all, that no one of us is safe. Our “system” no longer protects us.

Dear Lord, please share Your strength, and guidance.

Do you really want to go on the DOJ’s list of enemies?

Sure. Let 'em scan and dig. With a throwaway gmail address and accessing the web via proxy they'll be wasting their time.

We can fight back.

My goal is not to make it impossible, just to make it extra hard.

The government against Zimmerman

...has issued a verbal warrant against Zimmerman to search anything he has in hope of finding anything/something. The NSA data collection certainly makes possible the government pretending then that someone reported a past email, phone call, blog post, etc., when in actuality they simply dug it up from the data they had collected.

...The vendetta being flamed by Holder's fishing expedition is depriving Zimmerman of freedom of movement, a deprivation of liberty.

...The fishing expedition announces the government will try Zimmerman again, so it is holding a future trial over his head.

...The facts tried by this jury repeatedly said there was no racism, yet the fishing expedition is searching high and low for that in an unscrupulous manner, a methodology clearly in violation of common law.

...This ongoing attack on a man found "not guilty", the deprivations and hardships incurred, are clearly "cruel and unusual punishment."

I have never in my long lifetime ever seen a law enforcement agency set up a taxpayer funded tip line to find dirt on a Citizen of the United States that is not currently being accused of any crime.

This is the most outrageous abuse of government power against a single citizen I have witnessed in my life.

And there are so many trolls on this forum that think we ought to put this whole Zimmerman thing behind us.

In so many ways this is the most important issue of our time. This is not merely soft tyranny, this is the worst form of tyranny.

This is a STERLING opportunity to say all the things you want to say to 0bammy and Erik’s dept of injustice with no holding back. In fact, the more racism and violence, the better! Just put the words in Zimmerman’s mouth. “I think I heard someone who looked like George say _____” but I don’t remember when...
