Could This Be Why Obastard is Being such a Jerk?
Now | Me

Posted on 10/08/2013 9:32:32 AM PDT by Cyber Liberty

OK, it's a vanity. Deal.

I haven't heard this possibility brought up, but that might be because I haven't read every post. It's been a very busy week, and Obastard is doing his best to overflow the piss-off bucket. But, a thought dawned upon me yesterday when I was reading a story in IBD about the next big scary deadline coming up, the Debt-Limit that we're supposed to hit on 10/17.

I think Obastard is being a total pr**k about shutting down parks, landmarks and private property because he's building up cred for a threat he intends to pull next week. He's lost a lot of credibility with his threats recently because, at least on the foreign scene, he's been shown to be rather, uh, "toothless."

What's the big threat? We're all expecting it so I don't think I'm shocking anybody when I say he intends to deliberately default on our bond interest payments. It's well known that he doesn't have to do that, and any normal business would ensure the bond-holders get serviced first, but I think he's planning to stiff the folks holding the debt, and that's us. Yes, the Chinese will take it in the shorts, but I think the Fed holds the biggest chunk of the debt these days. At least, they're the only fools buying it lately, since the S&P downgrade.

He's infuriating everybody right now for the same reason a battleship bombards an enemy before an invasion: To "soften us up." He would rather create mayhem the likes we haven't seen in my lifetime than try to get spending under control. He wants to deliberately crash the economy, and this is his big chance, all the while blaming the Republicans, especially TEA Partiers. We're all Emmanuel Goldstein now.

I see a golden opportunity to put troops in the streets, and dissidents in jail.

Nothing that happens in politics nowadays is shocking. But the answer is a lot easier and closer to hand. In the Clinton-era shutdown, voters blamed Gingrich and Clinton benefited. Obama's expecting the same thing will happen this time.

The advantage Clinton took was more of a long-term thing. That's to say, it was more that Gingrich looked like a villain to much of the public after the media got through with him than that people were blaming him during the actual shutdown. Obama's counting on a similar propaganda effect this time.

George Bush Sr., though, wasn't able to turn a government shutdown during his term to his political advantage. He didn't have the political skill and didn't have the media of the day on his side.

Re: Independent conclusions....

Well, I suppose that it's marginally better you guys didn't independently come to the same conclusion.

I still think that my cat herding analogy is appropriate, though. If you ask three FReepers a question, you're liable to get five opinions. To have a number of us (in reading this thread, and others) all moving in the same unpleasant direction, all of a sudden, doesn't bode well IMO.

Heck, as me and I'll give you three by own self! LOL. I've been all over the place, just in this one thread.

I think this has Valerie Jarrett written all over it.

LOL, well, Jarrett is Obama's handler, everything out of the White House has her written all over it, because she writes it.

Obama plays golf, reads from the teleprompter, and is never left alone.

That's it.

The one time they let him slip the leash, Osama bin Laden got killed. A mistake that will never be repeated.

Even the most lickspittle Obama sycophant would see it as just that; deliberate.

It’s all coming together and how it ends, onlly God knows.....This is what we’ve feared and now we are near.
Please pray God will have mercy on us......

I fear a disruption of the internet, and we can’t communicate.

Why stop at cutting off EBT, SS, et cetera

There was a "dry run" on the DC-Orlando flight--

Would Hussein send his Muslim Brotherhood fanboys to crash an airframe into the Capitol?

Then leave the Situation Room for cards with Reggie Love. . . .

A regime which uses the IRS to defeat the Tea Party in a presidential election

Which has called for a national security force and ordered tens of millions of rounds

Which has classified constitutionalists as terrorists

And boldly condoned black on white violence

Would not be above the Mother of all False Flags

Missing nukes--we found them--a McVeigh type just blew up (fill in the blank city)

And the party is just getting started. . . .

Your theory makes some sense, given he's threatened to veto the House's Full Faith and Credit Act, in the unlikely event it slips past Dingy Harry, majority leader of the world's scummiest Senate.

Of course, the House's Act merely repeats the 14th Amendment. But then, Barry is known to think the Constitution is flawed.

If Obama lived in Holland he would be non stop exploring every possible way to breach the dikes, he would hire minorities to build plants to manufacture drilling equipment that will only work horizontally.

He would bail out the largest water pump business there only to mandate they make it “green” thus insuring the first time they are used in an emergency they all catch fire and explode.

And then all the emergency personnel that are assigned to protect the dikes are then starved by cutting off their paychecks.
