Hint; No Muslims on board, ever. 1350 gallons of kerosene, 2000 gallons of liquid oxygen every second. 2200 tons of duel in he first five minutes. With that kind of tip off its easy but putting rocket, moon, in the keywords, now that would be cheating!

First Stage of the Saturn V.

I agree. Vortex baffles in foreground. Splash baffles haven't been installed yet.

Here's a video of the interior of the tank during operation.

The rocket of my childhood.

I once played sick to stay home from school so that I could see one of these missions launch.

My how times have changed. Now they don’t go to school so they can burglarize houses while people are at work...

Coolest launch video of that monster you’ll ever see. (The music is perfect with it)

It may be the rocket of your childhood but that was the rocket of my (our dreams). What a magnificent, splendorous thing of beauty. OMG! Elegant, graceful, a singular object of wonder lifting off that luanch pad in slow motion, 7.5 pounds of thrust battling the forces of gravity every inch of the way. The vibrations within the command module so overwhelming the astronauts could not get their eyes focused on a single gauge. The Saturn V, a thing of wonder the greatest technological tour-de-force of the 20th century. Gone forever. You couldn't build one now if you tried.

No way, It’s way too clean. There’s gotta be at least fifty odd one of a kind ladies under garments abandoned from Pelosi alone.

I worked at the Manned Spacecraft Center (now LBJ) during Apollo 7,8,9,10,11, and 12. If you visit there now and go to Rocket Park, there is an Apollo launch vehicle complete from the first stage to the launch escape system (LES) in a climate controlled building. It was restored and enclosed after years of neglect in the open air.

I'm often amazed by the engineering associated with these types of projects.

SR-71

photo SR71Bodo_Olav_C1_zpsd22a1966.jpg I can just imagine the conservation when LM first introduced this aircraft to the Top Brass.

Generals, "What's that under the plane?"

LM, "That's fuel sir"

Generals, "Shouldn't your ground crew be more careful?"

LM, "Sir?"

Generals, "That's an obvious hazard", "You need to be more careful when fueling".

LM, "Sir, I assure you that our crews are extremely proficient"

Generals, "Then why is there fuel puddling under this aircraft?"

LM, "It's leaking from the fuel tanks, sir"

Generals, "I expect this is something that you are going to fix?", "I thought you were ready?"

LM, "Yes sir, we are ready", "The fuel leaks by design"

That’s from when America believed in progress. Not the socialist type of progress which the liberals have since embraced, but real progress toward the future.

“7.5 pounds of thrust battling the forces of gravity every inch of the way.”

I know that you meant to say, ‘7.5 MILLION pounds of thrust’. ;-)
