Conservatism is completely irresponsible. Conservatives howled President Barack Obama wasn't doing enough for Bowe Bergdahl. Now, in a move that would make George Orwell blush, conservatives are now attacking Bergdahl.
This is another hallmark of conservatism. The truth is flexible. Conservatism's enemy is Obama (or Bill Clinton before) and the Democrats. If the truth needs to be changed, so be it.
Conservatives demanded zero accountability from the Bush administration. 9/11? Failure to find Osama bin Laden? Mismanagement of Iraq and Afghanistan? Torture? Bad WMD intelligence? Conservatives looked the other way and made excuses.
But Bergdahl, an E-3, an exceedingly low rank, is being pilloried for things he may (or may not) be responsible for by conservatives because they want to deny Obama an accomplishment.
Conservatives would rather attack Bergdahl than hold accountable the Republicans they vote for. Obama has been more successful than Bush, and conservatives hate it.
Still haven’t changed their lies since the 2000s, have they.

9/11 happened about exactly 8 months after Bush took office and thanks to Gore’s pointless lawsuits Bush spent weeks organizing his cabinet which should have happened in the weeks after Election Day and before inauguration day. So Bush was dealing with recounts and then playing ketchup when he might have been getting briefed on the status of terrorism and world affairs thanks to Leftist dirty politics.
Well as far as WMD the Left still follows the script that Iraq never had chemical weapons after the First Gulf War (thanks to a biased Leftist MSM). It is completely ignored that there were convoys of trucks exiting Iraq in to Syria as the US and its allies invaded Iraq. Also ignored is how Syria had huge stockpiles of chemical weapons when Syrian rebels’ started making Assad’s life interesting. I wonder where those weapons came from. Things that make you go Hmmm.
Mismanagement of Iraq and Afghanistan? When Bush left office both were certainly more stable than they are now. Oh and by the way; Bush never summarily executed a US citizen with a drone fired missile did he?
