Right now the Seattle Times is still saying 2 dead (including the shooter) and four wounded. Is that not correct?
And KING-5 News, Seattle, is saying three is critical condition.

Providence Hospital has taken in four injured. May not be any fatalities at this time other than the shooter.

Seattle Times has a new article saying two dead. So who knows. Prayers for all whatever the case.

Funny when I was a ‘kid’ the only mood altering drugs for kids was a swift kick in the arse..Or nuns with a ruler or tugging by the ears to the cloak room. Usually followed by an encore at home - IF deemed bad enough to inform parents OR if one was dumb enough to say ‘Sister hit me’...’ratting’ Sister out called for an arse kicking at home, then at school the next day for ‘carrying tales home from school’.
We made excellent Sailors, Marines and Soldiers and learned a little respect along the way AND though most youngsters were around guns daily (at least in my neck of the woods) the last thing one would think of doing was go shoot the school up...(well maybe in a ‘wildest dream’ situation BUT they just weren’t done).

Add to that the fact that so often, we hear that nobody would ever have thought the perpetrator was capable of such a thing and if they really are mentally ill then why don’t they appear that way to the other students?
I just saw an phone interview on CNN with a kid who said that the deceased (that is what the cop is calling him during the news conference) walked up to a table of kids in the cafeteria from behind. They were his friends. He fired the four shots, and then looked up and smirked. Then turned around and began shooting towards the outside. He later went outside, shot more bullets and then shot himself.
He said he had the gun in his backpack all day and no one knew it.

You can clearly see that poor little Israeli child is going to be scarred for life by the close proximity to that evil gun. She looks terrified. /s
He was a Native American. He beat up someone who made a racist remark towards him. They got into a fight. I could not understand who got beat up badly, the deceased kid or the one who made the remark.
He is a football player. And the interviewee said that the day before he was fine, joking around.
He was voted homecoming price and was popular and well accepted.
He interviewee had said the name of the deceased earlier, but Jake Tapper asked him not to say it again because the parents may have not been notified since.
The school has mass shooting drill, but they have not had one this year.

I hear you. The nuns were the best thing that happened to me in grade school. Nuns made me study & excel under threat of a good butt-kicking.
