Hillary Clinton isn't accused of doing anything illegal in the Gawker stories. And Blumenthal's advocacy appears to have been pretty tame, consisting of passing on the statements of a third individual who, it was acknowledged openly, worked for Ivanishvili. But the White House, as Gawker notes, had rejected Clinton's efforts to hire Blumenthal in an official capacity. So you have the Secretary of State using an off-books email account to discuss national policy with someone who wasn't a government employee, was known to be disliked by the president's staff, and who might have been violating an actual law by participating in the conversation. That's probably not something Clinton is going to brag about in campaign commercials. It's also exactly the kind of foreign entanglement that critics have warned she is susceptible to

Follow the money - she's protecting her money - the Bill, Hillary, Chelsea Clinton Foundation, an influence buying slush fund that can be tapped, sheltered and passed on.

Here's how it works:

The Founding Father… and Mother… "Hillary Clinton came of age during the Burn-the-Bra era of the Sixties, but she did not adopt its disdain for foundations. Quite the contrary. Bill and Hill have created the master scam of our generation, ripping off individuals, institutions, corporations and even entire countries… and they call it a foundation! One thing is clear: the Clintons are engirdling the globe and the fat cats have to suck it up.

Truth is I was way ahead of the Man from Hope and the Queen of de Niles on this score. Decades ago I was advising wealthy friends to stop constructing all these elaborate trusts which line the pockets of lawyers and eventually breed various headaches. It makes much more sense to throw most of your wealth into a huge pot and call it a foundation. The law requires giving five percent of its assets to charitable causes each year. Stick to that number and if the endowment earns more than five percent, it is essentially turning a profit like a business. Nor is there ever an estate, as the structure holds fast for ensuing generations to pass through.

Put another way, you can run a hedge fund and call it a foundation.

The family funding the private foundation retains control over its officers and employees. In fact each family member can be listed as an officer in some capacity. You can then count all sorts of outlays, such as flying around in private planes and staying in upscale hotels, as foundation expenses. This enables you to shield a significant portion of your real income from taxes. If you are influential enough to attract outside donors, or to strong-arm them, pretty much every conversation you have with Bertie Wooster about polo in the Drones Club is foundation business.

Put another way, you can run a slush fund and call it a foundation......."

Wiki: Clinton Foundation "The Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation (originally, the William J. Clinton Foundation) is a non-profit foundation established by former President of the United States Bill Clinton with the stated mission to "strengthen the capacity of people throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence." The Foundation focuses on four critical areas: health security; economic empowerment; leadership development and citizen service; and racial, ethnic and religious reconciliation. The Foundation works principally through partnerships with like-minded individuals, organizations, corporations, and governments, often serving as an incubator for new policies and programs. They have offices located in New York City and Little Rock, Arkansas."....

Website: The Clinton Foundation "We believe that the best way to unlock human potential is through the power of creative collaboration. That's why we build partnerships between businesses, NGOs, governments, and individuals everywhere to work faster, better, and leaner; to find solutions that last; and to transform lives and communities from what they are today to what they can be, tomorrow.

Everywhere we go, we're trying to work ourselves out of a job. Whether it's improving global health, increasing opportunity for women and girls, reducing childhood obesity and preventable diseases, creating economic opportunity and growth, or helping communities address the effects of climate change, we keep score by the lives that are saved or improved.

What began as one man's drive to help people everywhere grew quickly into a foundation committed to helping people realize their full potential. Because the best thing we can do together is give others the chance to live their best life stories.

We're all in this together."

Wow, Everything that she did was illegal and yet nothing seems to be done about it except complain. Where is law enforcement? Where is actual investigation by the Senate or Congress? Is it just because the Justice Department is headed by a Democrat that they back down? Law and Order seems to be out the door for politicians! Of course this goes along with the rest of the corruption that goes on with government!!

They’ve always sold influence. It may be their undoing

They hide their criminal behavior and that of others who have worked for them (many were caught out in their deeds like Sandy Berger - just one example).

Their personal and political behavior has always smelled to high heaven (this email erase certainly is the icing on the cake) but the Democratic Party holds their breath real good around the Clintons.

And despite the stench, the Left admires them, applauds how good they are at “getting away with it.”

What would have shocked the old Democratic Party has become a feature in the new Democratic Socialist Party, they’ll put up with it (as now they are comrades in arms) because, what’s a bit of graft in the big picture, anyway?

The One Percent Clintons are their pathway to power.

Hypocrisy is the Left’s calling card.

The doorway leading to the smoking gun will be found though their foundation. Leaning on their donors is a rich source of information.

To catch a mobster you open and examine their books.

She has too much dirty laundry flapping in the breeze. Wait until those who don't know her history start getting a whiff.

Obama's past wasn't as well known and the media didn't care to look once they realized that he had such a good head of steam.

Her utter contempt for everyone is palpable.

She’s on very, very thin ice.

Good piece by J.R. Dunn:

“.....There’s a line from the first Godfather that’s always stuck in my mind. Sollozzo (Al Lettieri), the family’s deadly enemy who has just taken an almost fatal crack at Don Corleone, bends forward and near-whispers, “Could I have gotten to him ten years ago?”

That line has been running through my mind the past several weeks as the e-mail saga has unfolded: Could anybody have gotten to Hillary ten years ago?

The answer, of course, is “no.” Nobody could have gotten to her. Nobody ever has. Hillary — far more than Bill — has endured assaults that would have put anybody else in American life in the gutter for good — if not in a fed pen. She has been as untouchable as any Godfather. Consider the roll call: Whitewater, the Rose law firm, the miracle of the cattle futures, Vince Foster, Benghazi. They stand as towering monoliths of pure corruption on the horizon of the American political landscape, fading into the mist down the past forty years and more. Incidents that would have destroyed anyone else’s political career have scarcely even been broached in public; you can bring them up and have no one in hearing distance have any idea of what you’re talking about — e.g. her Watergate firing. So rich is the tapestry of Hillary’s corruption that vast crimes appear as mere detail, overwhelmed by the overall gaudiness.

And Hillary has not only endured, she has prevailed. A vast number of Gruberite Americans would trot out tomorrow to cast their votes for her secure in the knowledge that they were doing the best thing possible for the ol’ USA.

Apart from naked support by a corrupt media and pure ideology — the millions of female neurotics who see her as the rightful heir of Susan B. Anthony and company — she has gotten away with this through a combination of gall and fear. No matter what the accusation or the quality of the evidence against her, she has answered with absolute hauteur. Often coming up with excuses and explanations that wouldn’t fool a child of five, but put forward with such blank-faced cockiness as to completely fool the simple and flummox the gatekeepers. Time and again,........”

Exactly. I no longer care. I stopped following the circus in Washington about a year ago. I barely even watch the news anymore. Nothing is going to come of the Hillary email "scandal." Or the IRS targeting, fast and furious, etc etc.

She is a cultural Marxist, recognized as such by the others of her ilk who infest important positions everywhere. They protect her even though they’ve never met her because they recognize the kinship with their evil. The only reason they’d turn on her is if she was challenged for power by another cultural Marxist that they thought would be more effective at spreading their disease.

To paraphrase Daniel Webster, "When laws are not enforced there are no laws."

What we have is an impotent House, a neutered Supreme Court, and an ineffective Senate. Did the November 2014 elections change anything?

Trey, an Upstate boob, has " ... we took them at their word." Really? Oversight should be an active and aggressive verb, not our current and timid noun.

They (i.e., Us) endure. The water has long since boiled.
