The immediacy of social media, particularly Twitter and Facebook, offers us a window into the prejudices of others that is unprecedented in the history of our society. Not a day passes in the United States when some person does not commit career suicide, achieve viral fame, or both by posting to Twitter or Facebook. A hundred and forty characters or less can make a hero or freshly mint a villain. All it takes is an ill-chosen word or, perhaps more accurately, a moment of honesty.
We are all creatures of prejudice to one degree or another; we all harbor likes, dislikes and biases. Most of us understand which of our opinions can and should be voiced publicly and which cant and shouldnt but occasionally, our keyboards and our smartphones get the better of us. When they do, a few of us reveal the darkest hatreds weve been concealing. In some cases, these extend so far as murder.
Newsreader Brooke Baldwin, who regularly stares at a teleprompter for CNN, had an unfortunate moment of honesty recently. She blamed military veterans for the recent rioting in Baltimore, perpetuating the Rambo myth of the crazed combat vet who returns home spoiling to do battle with someone. Quite understandably, these absurd comments brought an avalanche of negative publicity down on Baldwins head. She at first tried to deflect blame by claiming that she was merely repeating a concern that was vocalized to her by someone else. When that didnt work, she started offering apologies on her Twitter account, while self-servingly claiming that she has always been a friend to veterans and veterans issues. She went on to say that her veteran friends should tune in for a heartfelt on-air mea-culpa....

Are you kidding I can’t wait til it’s legal to hunt liberals and alynskites.
Brooke, you ignorant bimbo. Trying to dig your way out of the hole you got yourself into?
The feeling is mutual and we have more guns.
The season premier of “Through the wormhole” was on the science channel last night. It was about bias and racism etc.
It was surprisingly fairhanded. It said that conservatives tend to be much more analytical and logical thinkers while liberals are driven by emotion. Also they said that blacks tend to be just as suspicious of other blacks as whites are.
It will never be legal to hunt liberals, because by definition, they will control the State.
But it will be necessary to defend yourself when
they make it legal to hunt and kill conservatives [Christians].
I miss Bloom County
That’s why they’re The Party of Tolerance.
And Dan Rather has the documents to prove it.
There simply isnt space in this column to chronicle the endless list of libs wishing death and harm on their ideological opponents. Examples are plentiful and egregious enough that we may stipulate as fact that liberals want to kill you for disagreeing with them... The liberals hate you. They want you to die. Any lip-service paid to the contrary is just that.
They have only been telling you this since the 1960's. Their manifestos, their pamphlets, their lectures, their editorials, and now their blogs and tweets, all say the same things: they want us dead.
I have had death threats. I have read their hate speeches. I have seen their seething rage up close and personal.
They want us all dead, just like their ideological boyfriends did in Russia, China, Cambodia, Cuba, and Angola - but they're not ready yet in America. Today.
But just remember: wherever Leftists gain total power, genocides of their political opponents always follow.
The Left is increasing the hate rhetoric. Just observe the latest commentaries on MSNBC, CNN, and Salon, for starts. Explicitly stating that violence is a legitimate form of political expression, and putting down anyone suggesting non-violence.
We laugh at their Stupidity, they daydream about loading us into Cattle Cars.
Anyone here with anounce of common sense does not soberly savor an all-out societal civil war - whether it comes or not. Whether we may feel ready for it or not.
If anything I would say while I don’t look forward to it, I will certainly,be glad once it is over. There is going to be way too much collateral damage to innocents to sit there and say one cannot wait for it to start.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use "united force" to solve economic, political or social problems.
