Donald Trump claims George W Bush lied about WMDs to justify Iraq invasion
Blasting News ^ | February 14, 2016 | Mark R. Whittington

A truism has developed during the 2016 election campaign that Donald Trump can say the most outrageous things and not have it affect his poll numbers. That principle may be put to a severe test as a result of Trump not only claiming that President George W. Bush lied about Saddam Hussein possessing weapons of mass destruction to justify the Iraq War but also blaming him for 9/11. These claims certainly livened up the debate in South Carolina where George W. Bush is regarded with some reverence

This photo may no longer be available. Or I may have messed up. If you can get this to work, it will be worthwhile.

If that is the picture of trucks, it has definitely been posted in FR before, surely, numerous times. It’s really not something to be questioned, Michael Savage has said this numerous times as well for folks who have listened to him.

Wow.

Well, I guess it would be an accomplishment for Trump to win over the Obama voters.

I seem to recall European and other intelligence agencies expressing alarm about Saddam’s WMD capabilities, Saddam’s refusal to allow UN weapons inspections and Saddam bragging about the damage he would inflict with his WMDs if America should attack. Saddam gave every indication that he had WMDs or at least that his bluff.

Our troops did find chemical weapons and laboratories, though little was ever said about those discoveries. And I understand it was Russian trucks that hauled those chemical weapons to Syria.

W’s refusal to stand up for himself in the face of media assaults and lies did irreparable harm to the GOP and the office of the President. Allowing others their right to Freedom of Speech is fine, but the holding the moral high ground is a poor substitute for a badly damaged reputation.

Also, per WMDs, right now there are articles on ISIS developing WMDs and it is talking about chemical weapons.

There are articles in the past few days of ISIS using mustard gas or having mustard gas and it is called a WMD.

Didn’t Iraq’s leader threaten W’s pappy. I heard some buzz about that in addition to invading Iraq. In truth, I never understood why we didn’t invade Saudi Arabia, all the terrorists were from there. Iraq was so random.

It was a photograph of two American soldiers holding up a billboard (about ten feet tall). The billboard showed Saddam Hussein smoking a cigar in the foreground. The background showed airplanes striking the twin towers. Foreground and background were linked by smoke from Saddam’s cigar to the smoke and flames in the towers.

The billboard was along an Iraqi highway. Clearly, Saddam was claiming credit for the 9/11 attacks. I could support a strike against anyone who takes credit, even if their claim is bogus.

As a separate matter. Saddam had three terrorist training camps. One had commercial planes, where plane hijackings were practiced. The world would benefit from seeing the names of all the graduates.

Iraq was behind a lot of terrorism. For example Saddam paid the family of all suicide bombers who murdered in Israel. Something like $25K apiece. There is a lot more. There was nothing “random” about attacking Iraq.

It’s true that the 9/11 hijackers were recruited from Saudi Arabia. But they could have been recruited from Britain, France, or even the US.

Bush looks Presidential LOL. What whining has to have mama and now brother out there for his pathetic low numbers after tens of millions spent.
No one is buying his establishment, whiney , pansy, open borders , except a few dummies in the establishment.

Presidential LOL, You have got to be having a laugh, you would vote because you think he looks better while ignoring what he stands for. WOW, no wonder we are so screwed.

I will never vote for that mama boy, whiney Bush, but Cruz and Trump I will have no problem.

Just because you think Bush is more Presidential does not mean I ignore the country being taken away from us to give to Mexico.

if you want soneione who whines and has to have mama backing him up then go for it.
I prefer a strong man or woman, someone who gets the job done and that is Cruz or Trump.

What Trump doesn’t know about foreign policy, and especially the classified stuff, is one of his greatest weaknesses besides his character, his words, his biography, his attitude towards his putative fellow Republicans, his fondness for Liberals, his funding of Liberals...well, it’s one more reason to think of him as a pretentious ill informed blowhard.

Very Christian of you , NOT. Yet you state all your family as well as you are very Christian. MMMMM.
You state your husband is a libertarian and yet earlier in your posts you state you don’t have any libertarians in your family.

I went through your past posts and boy you have derangement syndrome or you are a paid establishment troll.
You also tend to repeat exactly the same posts to others in different threads. Cut and Paste.

You don’t like Cruz or Trump so who is your guy, Bush, Rubio, Kasich?

By the way, it wasn’t just the Europeans who said Saddam had WMD. The Democrats did as well. Now, Trump was a devout Democrat then. Did he speak out about there “lies?” Has he ever attacked them over this issue? NO. He saves all his attacks for the GOP because he wants to destroy it. He is the nihilist chaos candidate. His only guiding principle, his only core belief, is in his own ego and vanity.
