Many folk will remember they worried about Donald Trump and Ted Cruz as president and vice president!
If Bernie Sanders—or any other socialist/marxist/communist—had the gall to make a run for president in the Cold War generation, there would have been open revolution on the streets.
Up against Hillary Clinton for Democrat presidential nomination, reprobate Sanders has zero chance of getting the nod. But if Hillary is sworn in as U.S. president, with Sanders as her vice president, what can be done to stop her?
It is worrisome

Anyway, how much does Bernie want to sellout his principles?
I think the worse scenario is that Hillary gets charged out by the AG ten days prior to the Democratic Convention and there is some massive push to bring in the unknown guy to replace her, and half of her crew and the Bernie-guys at the Convention go ballistic. Then they band enough votes on the first run without Hillary there and get Bernie the nomination.
You could see a similar scenario with the Republican Convention, where Trump and Cruz are pushed out, and a unknown arrives to carry the convention. The Trump camp would walk out and vow never to vote Republican ever again.
So imagine that....an unknown Republican guy and Bernie.
True, but I really don’t see that happening. She’ll pick someone young to both get out the youth vote AND to set up someone as the “future of the Dims”.
I’d really be shocked if it were Bernie.

Like many on FR I have voted in at least 15 presidential elections thus far in my lifetime. This one takes the cake.

This will be my 10th. I just missed being able to vote in the ‘76 election by a few months.
The first time I voted was for Reagan in 1980. It has been downhill since ‘84.
Hillary will pick a young Hispanic male. It doesn’t matter which one. She just needs to placate the correct demographics in the Democrat base.
She already has old rich left-wing white lesbians covered.
