RNC Cuts Off Moore

The national party pulls out of a fundraising pact with the Alabama candidate, further isolating him.

The Republican National Committee is withdrawing its support for besieged Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, leaving him increasingly isolated as he confronts charges of sexual misconduct with teenagers.

The RNC is pulling out of a joint fundraising agreement it had with Moore, according to a senior party official briefed on the decision. It is also canceling a field program it had set up ahead of the state’s Dec. 12 special election. The committee had about a dozen paid canvassers in Alabama working for Moore. It will no longer transfer any money to the race.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel is expected to brief committee members on the decision on a Tuesday conference call.

Even before allegations surfaced against Moore, the committee believed he was in trouble. Internal RNC polling conducted around a week ago showed him leading his Democratic opponent by just two percentage points. The committee has been evaluating its options about what to do about Moore over the last few days.

The move comes as the party intensifies its effort to pressure Moore out of the race. On Monday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called on the candidate to “step aside.” McConnell also said he believed the accounts of Moore’s female accusers, who told the Washington Post that Moore pursued them when they were teenagers and he was in his 30s.

And how is that going to hurt him?

Reminds me of “dumber and dumber” The RINO’s will do whatever they need to do to keep their world in place.

We, I feel will get them sometime in future.

If the RNC calls me I’m gonna pledge $500. Then let them waste a bunch of time and mailers trying to get me to actually send any money to them.

Your better off hanging up on them. They politicize what donations they’re getting...and it leads to more. Just cut them OFF.

Sessions needs to step down. Instead of being drained, the swamp creatures are getting nastier.

I'm hoping that's a sign of desperation, knowing their time is short.

This is the RNC proving the ‘establishment Republicans’ theory. Doesn’t it seem strange to anyone else that Roy Moore shows signs of winning a senate seat and suddenly, after 40 years, women start showing up with these allegations.

He is like another Trump. I think he will win over and above the GOP.

“Amazing. They’re not even telling him he’s on his own. They’re actively advocating the seat go to the rats.”

This is McConnell and Ryan setting the table for 2018 primaries. McConnell can’t get anything done with 52 Senate votes, so what does it bother him if that drops to 51 instead?

What does concern the GOP establishment is that Moore won ahead of Strange, in spite of Strange having the money and a series of endorsements from President Trump on down. That terrifies them. McConnell and Ryan are now desperately trying to build this narrative that if we vote for who they like in the primary, there’ll be plenty of money and support for that candidate. But vote for someone else in the primary and that guy could turn out so “toxic” the Dem wins.

At this point, McConnell needs Moore to lose in order to back up the propaganda he’ll be pushing in 2018 primary season.

Funny how we’re seeing the true colors/character of NWO players like the Bushes and, RNC, et al, isn’t it?

They’re not even trying to hide their stripes, anymore.

Why do they fear Judge Moore?

Because he is a real statesman. He has moral bearing that McConnell could only dream about. He has the mental reserve of a Clarence Thomas. He is like Ronald Reagan in his ability to stand up to an evil empire and face them down.

McConnell needs squishes. Judge Moore is no squish.

Since all the accusations didn’t come out until Moore was being considered for a prominent position I don’t believe a one of them?

ALL these women kept silent for all these years until he’s ready for a big move and suddenly they all come out at once to destroy his character?

Nope. Don’t believe a bit of it.

>Why does the Swamp fear Roy Moore?

They don’t. What they fear is a legion of Roy Moores taking their seats in Congress. Roy Moore is a symbol that the GOPe must crush.
