True competition for African American votes may take many years to accomplish, but those important first steps may be starting right now
The liberal mainstream news media have a narrative about Donald Trump and they do not deviate. The constant refrain is that the President is unhinged, idiotic, tyrannical and especially racist. Recently, the President was labeled a racist when he criticized CNN’s Don Lemon and NBA star LeBron James. Their latest obsession is the new book written by fired White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman.
The dems thought the book by Ho morosa would bring Trump down. It proved the angry Ho is spouting lies, and being paid by dems to do it.
As in 2014 and 2016, their national press corpse knows that the only hope for the national socialist party is a race war.

Despite the constant media portrayal of the President as a flaming racist, the August 15, 2018 Rasmussen poll showed that 36% of African American respondents gave the President a positive approval rating.
In one year, the President’s African American approval rating increased by 17% in the Rasmussen poll.
Odd how the MSM - including Chris Wallace - have 'missed' this mind-blowing statistic...
Me thinks Trump is what black voters have been waiting for.
As far as the percentages in polls go, I'd think anything over 45% pro-Trump is real good. That's because so much of the Dem votes is concentrated in a few regions. The problem is those never-Trump 'pubs who would rather lose the election than lose control of the Republican Party.

They need to be asked why his support from groups that he supposedly hurts is rising so dramatically.
Here’s the thing that people should take from this 36-percent story....that’s two years of effort. As you get to November of 2020, and the second Trump election...I think he can pull 50-percent (easily). They are in trouble but you’d have to go and invent another Obama-like character out of thin air to retrieve those votes, and I just don’t see that happening.

I don’t like to discuss people by race, but it has been my life long observation that because many African Americans are working people or poor, they tend to be down to earth. IOW they have common sense, and it makes sense that jobs are good for you and your family and friends.
The dims are suffering from "shrinkage"
I still remain skeptical of any minor or massive shift in black support for any GOP candidate in a general election. Even Trump. Voicing “approval” isn’t the same as pulling the lever for a candidate. Blacks, like most Jews, are terminally Democrat.
Blacks also know they are being replaced big time by illegals and gays as the favored Democrat interest group. Most Americans dislike illegals and are very turned off by a gay agenda. This cuts across racial lines.
Trump can accomplish the unthinkable - he can snatch the black community from the clutches of white liberal elite plantation owners...
