Military vets give Trump high marks for job performance, poll finds
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch ^ | December 29, 2018 | The Associated Press

Nearly 6 in 10 military veterans voted for Republican candidates in the November midterm elections, and a similar majority had positive views of President Donald Trump's leadership. But women, the fastest growing demographic group in the military, are defying that vote trend.

That's according to AP VoteCast, a nationwide survey of more than 115,000 midterm voters — including more than 4,000 current and former service members — conducted for The Associated Press by NORC at the University of Chicago. It found that veterans overall approved of Trump's job performance, showing high support for the president's handling of border security and his efforts to make the U.S. safer from terrorism....

6 in 10 ... this shows the effect due to eight years of recruiting strictly in minority areas.

talk to a recruiter that worked under 0bama. ask him if they were instructed to target certain groups above others.

Combat vets have always voted republican by 90%. It’s the other, non-combat uniformed bureaucrats who see their military service as just another government job that don’t.

That goes for Generals too; see Mattis, Kelly & McMasters. How in god's holy name do they justify being Ds, in this day and age?

Great. Now can we make an effort to not “misplace” their votes again in 2020?

How anyone in the combat arms votes Rat party is beyond me. I can easily see those in REMF units and the officer ranks go leftard though. That is pure cultural and ideological rot.

Think about the below:
The 8 years of Hussein's anti-militry reign:
The numerous Generals and Admirals who resigned:
The perfumed princes that remained:
The queering of our Armed Forces:
The affect on 0-6 to top to go along to advance:
The affect on E-7 to E-9 to go along to advance:
The obvious lack of training/discipline that causes 2 destroyers to collide with large lumbering commercial vessels.

I could go into further detail, but would only depress me more.

Should add:
Women on combat ships. That is one of the reasons I got out after 11 years. I saw it coming when I personally saw a sailor in line for shore duty quietly say "nice" when a female sailor walked by.

The poor offended little snowflake over-heard and immediately came back with a female Chief and pulled him out line. My frigate was tied up outside of a tender (included female crew) which we had to cross for Diego Garcia liberty of all places. This was early 80's. Now the perfumed princes want to put women on submarines? Sheesh.

Not sure, but it seems only the Corps doesn't give females combat billets. I've read that many Army commanders are no longer assigning their female personnel to combat. The women may have a combat MOS (Rating to us Navy), but not assigned to ground units in the suck. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Mostly agree! The upper officer/enlisted pay grades are obvious as in my post above. However, the lower officer/enlisted who are in the suck I doubt, especially since we now have a pro-military POTUS. But then, there is the depravity that's permeating our military morale. So I could be wrong.

Also, if not for REMF logistical support, combatants couldn't fulfill their missions. They are also in harms way often times, not to mention deployments away from their families. I remember the countless times in the Pacific/Indian oceans getting food, fuel, maintenance parts, etc. while underway. Without them, we couldn't have fulfilled our mission to keep the seas free of Soviet aggression. They were in as much danger as my combatant ships, maybe more so if you know about naval priorities.

Think: WWII and the Nazi subs sinking countless supply ships in the Atlantic. That said, legal, certain admin types are shore billets and never in harms way. There are or were similar billets in the other branches. Those are the true REMF's. I will remain thankful for the supply and oilers who kept us going. I'd bet in-country grunts are also thankful for getting their supplies because without the logistical chain, they wouldn't be there.
