OK, a quick primer on how to recognize who is running a demonstration:
If the demonstration is run by Communists, lots of red flags, lots of canned slogans, lots of thugs to push people around.
If the demonstration is being run by Socialists, lots of well-printed posters with the words “smash” or “now” on them. Usually lots of union guys adding mass to the demonstration.
If the demonstration is run by democrats, expect lots of goofy causes mixed together, like abortion fanatics, gay activists, and morons with facemasks and clubs.
If the demonstration is populist/centrist, look for ordinary people carrying homemade signs and making things up as they go along.
Therefore, the Yellow Vests are populists, not “commiecrats”.
You need to get out more. And maybe learn how to read French.
