2020 was the 75th anniversary of the allied triumph over axis totalitarianism.
Instead of celebrating freedom we endured a nightmare.

If it hadn’t been for President Truman dropping the bombs on Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, my Grandfather would likely been involved in the invasion of mainland Japan. I might not be here as a result. I’ll never be sorry that we dropped the atomic bombs on Japan.
The japs started the War with The United States of America with the attack on Pearl Harbor.
We put the stop to it.
IMO the japs got off EASY !!! We should have dropped 4 or 10 more Devices on them as Data gathering runs.

My wife’s father was a Marine in WW2. He had been wounded on Iwo Jima and was recuperating from his wounds. Had those bombs not been dropped he might have not made it back home and my wife might never have been born.
Yeah, somewhat. Then Fukashima would be just a nuisance to them.
